sounds like its your psu. I suggest doing the paperclip test, just to make sure. google it youll find a bunch of tutorials. all it does is fools the psu into turning itself on because it thinks its plugged into a motherboard. if it doesn't work in this test then its probably your psu. just hope it didn't take any parts with it.
Did that paperclip test, the case fans were still connected and spun and I heard it.

Well I tried starting the mobo on an anti-static bag with CPU and fans attached, same exact thing. Fuck my life, I have a feeling this motherboard is dead.
looks like it. rma it and get a new one
Well I found another issue, the issue relates to it only does this when the 8-pin CPU plug is hooked up. It seems to be a bad motherboard in general maybe or it is the PSU's 8-pin plug? Idk it's kind of shitty. I've been waiting to get this done for a while and I'm sure an RMA will take weeks.
is it still within the 30 day period, if it is then it won't take longer than 2 weeks.
if that
It is, I just ordered it. It was just shipped yesterday.

Should I return the PSU too?

If you want to be sure about it yea.
Well I'm going to see if I can get the 8-pin plug tested with a multimeter to rule out that part and then I should be good.
PSU was tested, it's fine. Motherboard was just a POS evidently. RMA'd it.
