I do use dual monitors. I force my card to underclock with nvidia inspector. Otherwise I do idle at 48c.
I'll look into that. Thanks.

Only downside is you have to take your 570 off every time you want to play a game or do something gpu intensive. Because it doesn't go back to normal clocks.
My HD5670 has 30 degrees. * evil laugh *

But it's a 5670
Point invalidated.
My 8800GT went up to 112c in every game, for 3 years. I don't use it ATM but it still works perfectly fine.
Ha, same here. One year, until I cleaned all the dust from the heatsink, my 8800GT was going up to 110C in every game. Still works fine, been over 3 years now.
My GTX 295 would heat up to 105 C in L4D and other games where I got ridiculously high frame rates. I took it apart to try to re-apply the thermal grease (which there was almost none of to begin with). Long story short, I ended up killing my 295 in the process, but EVGA, being the cool dudes they are gave me a brand new GTX 480 to replace my 295.
Taking apart your 570 should be much easier than a 295, so I'd try that, but just make sure you're not voiding your warranty by doing it. I called up EVGA beforehand and they said while it doesn't void my warranty, they don't recommend it :v:
make a good damn barbecue!
okay im going to get a box of compressed air and spray around and check if the fan is misplaced if that does not work im getting a bigtower with tons of fans to keep it cool
