Nope, it's not that. I know the specifics of my contract. It's because I technically I live in a workplace's offices, and for that you need to pay for a company subscription. The ones that companies are paying for their internet.

Same speed as my old provider in Ontario, but I get ~100GB more Bandwidth a month (250GB up from around ~100 from before), and I believe it is cheaper as well.
If we wanted to pay $72 more a month we could get up to 12.5 MB/s with the same Bandwidth cap.
