Just ordered this to replace the modem I'm renting from Comcast. Reason? Currently I have their Economy Plus package, which is this for $40 a month by itself:

The modem I'm renting from comcast cost me $8 a month, so you could say I'm only going to pay $5 more a month with a $55 'up front fee'.
