Yea, like for engineers with CAD. I am most probally building a CAD pc for my uncle who owns his own buisness. it would certainly have its place along with a FirePro Workstation GPU.

In any case I would say you're paying way to much for that mobo. You could put a better GFX in or something like that. And that CPU is good, especially if you're "just" planning on video rendering, but you could buy a cheaper mobo, and get a better one... Though, the price is maybe fair enogh considered it supports up to 2200MHz memory... But it's only Dual-Channel, so atleast consider one with triple...

anyway, if it's not up within a few days, i'll buy off ncix.com. not that much more expensive
NCIX has excellent delivery and customer services, atleast from my previous buys from them. I've bought my case, cpu, cpu cooler, motherboard, ram, and psu from them. I believe the guy who had the 8800GT that I own now bought from NCIX also.
