did you know some people care more about price/performance than how fast something is?
Oh my.. How can you not understand that AMD is a cheaper and better solution for buyers today.
Oh my.. How can you not understand that AMD is a cheaper and better solution for buyers today.
not for all buyers. It depends on your budget.
Nice, you've driven me further to believe that you regurgitate information from Wikipedia, as if you have no argument or thoughts of your own.
You want thoughts of my own? Fine, I think you're either an egotistical fanboy or a very persistent troll. Continuing in this argument is obviously pointless so I will just say thank you for this stimulating conversation.
Well, you are right. But still, AMD are better for the Price/Performance ratio. I think $1200 for a CPU is lunacy.
for professional work, it would have its place in the market.
Yea, like for engineers with CAD. I am most probally building a CAD pc for my uncle who owns his own buisness. it would certainly have its place along with a FirePro Workstation GPU.
Don't Xeon's have larger cache's?
depends on the chip, but in general, no
Don't Xeon's have larger cache's?
They're binned higher and are good for their price (x3440)
..and thats it, nothing more nothing less
ROFL oh wait, you were being serious.
ROFL Oh, wait, you were being a troll. Again. In any case I would say you're paying way to much for that mobo. You could put a better GFX in or something like that. And that CPU is good, especially if you're "just" planning on video rendering, but you could buy a cheaper mobo, and get a better one... Though, the price is maybe fair enogh considered it supports up to 2200MHz memory... But it's only Dual-Channel, so atleast consider one with triple... Rate me bad reading... This text is awful.
Your argument is completely irrelevant when Intel is faster; clock for clock AND core for core. AMD keeps answering Intel's releases by adding on more cores or having their chips higher-clocked (to speeds that Intel can reach easily when OC'd). I really don't understand what kind of bullshit you're trying to fill me full of, because it's not working.
Hahaha, do you even know how to BUY a cpu?. You are really Dumb.
haven't you guys realized that ph0ne is trolling by now @ph0ne i don't mind trolling but don't do it when someone actually might take your advice and waste money
Wow havn't seen Phone in almost a month! How are you you old troll you? Now please throw your computer out of the window and go live under a bridge where you belong.
haven't you guys realized that ph0ne is trolling by now @ph0ne i don't mind trolling but don't do it when someone actually might take your advice and waste money
I'm sure everyone noticed, but since nobody wants to deal with him around here, it's fun to fuck with him
it's fun to watch an excellent catfight. anyway, if it's not up within a few days, i'll buy off ncix.com. not that much more expensive
NCIX has excellent delivery and customer services, atleast from my previous buys from them. I've bought my case, cpu, cpu cooler, motherboard, ram, and psu from them. I believe the guy who had the 8800GT that I own now bought from NCIX also.
