Rightload, I can upload images to my web host by right clicking them, going to send to, then selecting "Upload to default server".
If I could use that, I'm sure that would help me bucketloads. But I can't :<
Still, hopefully someone reading this thread can :)

Oh and Jing. You can take screenshots of your desktop or record video of what your computer screen is showing and upload it instantly to www.screencast.com which is essentially just like photobucket. The link to the images is auto-pasted to your clipboard.
Rainmeter... god. Beautiful :buddy:
Jing looks useful, too. Bookmarked!
Well, most things you need have been posted here but:
Windows 7 Start Orb Changer - Self Explanatory
CCleaner - Clears unused files and fixes registry errors
Thunderbird - Can handle your emails.
I used CCleaner on my old PC, super useful. The start orb changer looks fun, too.
I've found JDiskReport to be very useful when cleaning up my hard drive. Shows me where all my disk space is going.
THE UNSOLVABLE MYSTERY: SOLVED.

I live in Australia and we have internet caps down here. Long story short, if you download/upload too much in one month, your internet gets slowed to like, 4kb/s or something ridiculous like that. Online backup-ing isn't for me :(

Perhaps you'd fancy Foobar200 then? Very extensible.

I used Foobar2000 on my old computer for a while but I couldn't figure out the whole extension thing. Is there a quick make-my-foobar-pretty pack or something?

Particularly here: http://foo-nation.deviantart.com/gallery/24533224
A nice, small batch of decent themes. They should all come with instructions on how to install them.

7stacks is pretty awesome, apparently version 1.5 will be far better, but the last update was over 6 months ago, so I'm not sure if it's ever going to receive an update...
[editline]05:19AM[/editline]
actually, StandaloneStack looks like it may be better...
http://br3tt.deviantart.com/#/d2qdwkf
This theme
I'd suggest MPlayer. No real hassle with codecs or anything and plays almost all audio and video formats.
Edit: Nevermind. SMPlayer is MPlayer for Windows.
VLC Media Player
GIMP or Photoshop
Stardock fences
Steam
MS Office
Visual Studio
You're certainly going to need Daemon Tools Lite if you haven't gotten it, and be sure to opt out of the the ad-ware toolbar + homepage change when you install. I also recommend you use VLC for video watching, namely the newest release candidate, since it supports hardware acceleration and it'll play anything out of the box. Still, that's up to you, but Daemon Tools is always useful. You may want to get ImgBurn too, as its pretty well the best disk burning utility I know of.
Imgburn
Spotify
Glary Utilities
I use preciously the same configuration as Odellus, and of the same reason..

You're welcome, MTmod :)

Also, VLC Media player is a must.
I have Windows 7 64 as well, and I have a rocketdock on the top of my screen.
GMail notifier - Tells you when you got new emails
Search Everything - Instantly finds the file you are searching for. Incredible app.
Ultramon - for those with 2 monitors that want the taskbar to span both
Input Director - use a single mouse/keyboard to control more than 1 computer, makes the 2nd PC act as another monitor.

I saw this 30 minutes late. Fml :<
Trillian for instant messaging.
Trillian for instant messaging.
Trillian is good, but I personally prefer Pidgin.
I also think Digsby is better than Trillian. I stopped using that though since I was having issues that nobody else seemed to be having.
Some of this has already been posted, but on every desktop machine I own I always put these on before anything else:
VLC - for media playback
Display Fusion - if it's got 2 monitors
Sysinternal Suite - for troubleshooting
Alcohol 120% - for virtual optical drives
