I can't exactly vouch for Windows 8 because it's been giving me BSOD troubles, though that might be because I used a registry cleaner well before CCleaner had proper support, which is the computer equivalent of scrubbing the enamel off your teeth. I have no problems with Metro though.

Rainmeter clock on the left monitor for time at a distance, taskbar clock so you can see the time with Firefox open, and clock on right monitor so there's one on each monitor/backup to other Rainmeter clock?
see I don't mind multiple clocks if you have a reason for it

Yup. If I had Aero transparency, I'd have a smaller one up in the top left of the right monitor as well, so that I could see the time through the taskbar
But I'm satisfied with the Win8 visual style
