Just did the same thing. Unity now works nicely, not absolutely marvelous, but it runs really nice. And it matches with brown, orange, and such wallpaper colors.

Those are those new pinup photos that feature modern props right? Looks good.
Also I think it looks fine as is. If you wanted, you might add some text somewhere on it, as some pinups have a slogan or saying on them.

Nothing too interesting other than they shuffle around, I would bother and use things like rocketdock/rainmeter/etc but I never really see my desktop as theres always browsers/ftp/applications on all three, I rarely even see metro/use the startmenu on a day to day basis.
