Wouldn't it be easier to edit the 2011 version of the Sonic CD intro instead, assuming it is in a much nicer res? I heard it is supposed to be a much better remake of the intro, but I really could not tell the difference on the iOS version.

It's not Chrome, it's Firefox (Aurora, to be specific) as you can see in the taskbar or on the bottom-left of his post.
