Are you storing your wallpaper on a separate HDD?
Any DE I use just resets it any time I restart if I do this.

see, this isn't really a full DE, it's just a window manager. It's pretty much the most barebones minimalist thing you can get, and it involves alot of crazy config files and such. it doesn't even come with a status bar.

It usually fixes whatever wallpaper woes I have
only problem is feh doesn't support Span, so I have to use Wallch

i can set it using feh or any other program , but it only stays active for my current session, then reverts back. Also, i didn't know there were many other /g/ browsers on here
