Have been since 2006. I used to be a Patriots fan since I've got a thing for New England teams otherwise (Bruins, Red Sox, recently became a fan of the Celtics). But I'm still a massive fan of the Saints.

That could literally all get pinned in the start menu. Or take SuperDuperScoot's idea and make a "Stuff" folder and have it be the only icon on your desktop. Create shortcuts to section of your computer you use the most and put them in there, put all of those shortcuts in the folder. It would look fine with just one icon in the lower right. You can even disable the recycling bin icon.
Wasn't there a program for Windows similar to [URL="http://www.alfredapp.com/"]Alfred[/URL] as well that you could use? The name escapes me at this moment, but it might be of use to you if your start menu gets full.

Quick and dirty straight-port. Needs to be adjusted to fit with 8 a bit more. The navigation and the start menu search box most obvious bits. Then the listview and treeview which is a little less obvious.
