Can't do anything about freezing, It might be best to just buy a new console.
Well, my dad apparently was going to buy me one, but I said don't because I thought the family needed the money more. So he spent the money on other things. So I'm stuck with new Xbox games and no way to play them. :/

You could try installing games to your hard drive which might make the console run a bit cooler.

And Black Ops freezes at the beginning when all the credits show.
I don't think anything can be done about that then. Just try and sell the console as faulty on eBay and save up for a new console. Is it the 20GB console?
Vaccuming isnt a very good idea by the way, creates static electricity = fucks up the components

Before you trade it in try all these tests. http://support.xbox.com/en-gb/pages/xbox-360/troubleshoot/hardware/screen-freeze-wizard.aspx
The exact same thing happened to mine about 4 months ago. I sold it for $80 to a friend and bought a new one. I called Microsoft Repair whatever in India and they said they want $180 for a refurbished one. I said screw it and bought a new one for $20 more. :v:
Yeah, Microsoft ask more more than what they cost and they take your console from you.
