Both my Gold and Silver version's batteries died and no longer save.
Red, Blue, Yellow and Crystal still work amazingly.
Must have just had bad luck.
On topic, I thing some of these are pretty good and creative. If I could find my USB drive I's sooo do something with it. ... But I had to be dumb and lose it, just like everything else I have that's smaller then the palm of my hand.
