That statement wasn't contradictory whatsoever. And yes it [I]is[/I] my money so I'll decide what to do with it. And why would I give away a large prize unless there's actually going to be competition between the entries? If there's one or two mods that are really good and stand out, it's obvious that one of them will win and the contest wouldn't be much of a contest. It would turn into a transaction instead of a competition.

I think that you should team up with someone else and give a later deadline in the US/UK Winter Holidays. Most of the forum comes from there, and more than likely the Southern Hemisphere would be in Summer Holidays. This would allow for some long thought out designs, which is what you are looking for, and would allow more competition.
I would pitch in, but I want to enter.

Why make the prize larger? Its already big enough at the most make them into second and third prizes.
