Upgraded Computer parts, and my router wireless is working but not my ethernet wired connection?

Hi pretty much my title is my problem. Router is working and im able to talk to you from my laptop but my wired connection to my desktop isnt working. I upgraded the motherboard, graphics card, psu and cpu. Whats the problem?

EDIT: whoops! im connected to my isp's wifi the optimumwifi, well anyways that means my router isnt working as well. What is the problem?

Have you tried resetting the router?

Try going with the most direct connection you can get (in some cases modem & router are apart). If it's the ISP's router you should contact them about faulty internet.
