even though you may have a large budget I say you're spending too much on a PSU get 2 4GB sticks, start with 1 GPU, i5 is fine for what you're doing, and in my opinion the 932 is better than the 1200 (and cheaper too)
even though you may have a large budget I say you're spending too much on a PSU get 2 4GB sticks, start with 1 GPU, i5 is fine for what you're doing, and in my opinion the 932 is better than the 1200 (and cheaper too)
I searched up 932 on newegg and it looks like the haf and I turend the haf down also will a single 580 push out every game I want on my monitor?
It will max most games, but not all, and that's why I suggest you wait for the 590 to release
Well if you can control your patience listen to Jaehead and I
It will max most games, but not all, and that's why I suggest you wait for the 590 to release
Isn't the 590 two 580s?
save money and just buy two medium-high end cards. 6870x2 should be fine for a while. and before anyone says anything about microstutter, it's a problem with dual GPUs, so it affects the beloved 6990 too.

two 6870s is a total of 2gb
two 6870s is a total of 2gb
I may have not been acquainted with recent hardware, but unless amd pulled some magic, thats bullshit
two 6870s is a total of 2gb
but considering his budget 2 mid-range GPUs isn't good enough also I don't like buying 2 GPUs from the start
but considering his budget 2 mid-range GPUs isn't good enough also I don't like buying 2 GPUs from the start
Hmm, whys that?
to save money is the main reason, and especially in this case, there's no point limiting your upgrade options by buying 2 mid-range GPUs when you can buy 1 GPU that's just as good
to save money is the main reason, and especially in this case, there's no point limiting your upgrade options by buying 2 mid-range GPUs when you can buy 1 GPU that's just as good yes, I do acknowledge you have quite a large budget, but that doesn't mean you have an obligation to spend it all, right?
What about 2 high end video cards, I just wanna be happy for a long time and max out modern games for the next 2 years on my monitor. My friend said that my resolution is extra demanding, I'm just sticking out for him.
I know, so get a 590 / 6990, which is basically 2 high-end cards in 1 PCB, and you can do quad-sli later on
I'm likely never to upgrade it, I'm also probably not going to build it, just take the parts to ncix [editline]11th March 2011[/editline] Unless my performance got sluggy in BF3 witch would be a dumb thing to say [editline]11th March 2011[/editline] I think I'm going to get the singular 580 for now. Also, would it be alright if I got a 2600k for bragging rights?
Wait for the GTX 590 sheesh
Wait for the GTX 590 sheesh
Will do, do you know if it will have a switch or some way to active full 580 clocks? (like the 6990)
nevermind
nevermind
huh?
I may have not been acquainted with recent hardware, but unless amd pulled some magic, thats bullshit
no black magic trickery; each card has 1gb of memory.
no black magic trickery; each card has 1gb of memory.
Your only going to be access 1gb of memory too
