Yeah, it's not. Thread closed, basically. What else is there to say?
Get a desktop? :hurr:
it's also not one of those small travel desktops, I've got a $900 ok laptop. It's even got a number pad, :D. I can run Crysis if it wasn't for the graphics/video card.
What the fuck am I reading?
What the fuck am I reading?
Apparently he has a bulky laptop that can't be easily carried around. Might as well get a desktop in that case.
Get a desktop they are better.
Get a desktop they are better.
This is an opinion, you can find laptops that can easily match up to some mid-end desktops. Sure their gonna cost 3x as mucc, but just as good. Gaming wise though, you never really want to use a laptop, simply because it will destroy a laptop (like, melt it after time).
Well, I just got the email from my cousin's father - The model isn't upgradeable. And, fuck off. It's not like I have enough money to go out and get a desktop. If I did, I would.
I think you should confront FP about your computer / laptop buying decisions for now on. :psypop:
very few do and most are highend, my ASUS G50 will upgrade, but for what you pay would may as well upgrade a desktop [editline]10:55PM[/editline] the probably upgraded the ram and cpu
Incorrect Even though the G50v runs MXM III it has a proprietary BIOS so you cannot upgrade
Lol...Guys, I think I've posted this alot: I CANNOT GET A DESKTOP NOW, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
Lol...Guys, I think I've posted this alot: I CANNOT GET A DESKTOP NOW, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
So what your saying... You will spend $1000-$1500 dollars to buy a laptop that can play games but you will not spend 700-1000 dollars on a desktop?
I spent $900. And, it's not my problem I didn't get the choice on where to go. If it was up to me, this thread wouldn't exist, and I'd be happily sitting playing games like Fallout3 or Crysis.
Why did you buy a laptop your game with it, I know there are gaming laptops but they are huge.
What?
WHY can't you get a desktop?
Because they don't have built in number pads.
Im sure you could sell the laptop for more than 500$ if it cost that much. That could give you a desktop (without monitor) with pretty good gaming power. How long ago did you get this laptop? The way you make it sound, is that its a 4 year old laptop that was awesome back then.
Mayby he bought the laptop for school/work which would leave him with no money to buy a desktop PC? Jesus guys really.
Why spend $900 on a School/work laptop?
