I'll be ordering with you tonight / tomorrow morning then :)
Sounds good to me. Whatcha gettin? :buddy:
Duno yet to be honest. Its just a small site for a client at the moment, but if all goes well, i'll be getting a VPS with you guys.
Awesome :smugdog:
Whats the mySQL limits on the Personal account?
There are none. Unlimited databases with all of them, the size of the database factors into your total disk space.
I'll order a personal for now then :)
From the E-mail I just recieved, a Congratulations is in order. Well done BroHoster :)
Thanks. For anyone who isn't a current customer this is the email:
Starting only a month ago, we've gone from nothing to having a wide range of clients and products and it was all thanks to you and our fellow bros out there who decided to have Brohoster as their host. Because of this speedy progress, as owner of Brohoster I've decided to legally register Brohoster as an LLC. This will involve a lot of paperwork, but I believe that Brohoster will be here to stay and hopefully so will you and the rest of our customers. Anyone who had an existing subscription to pay your bills via Paypal will have to recreate this subscription due to the fact that we also had to recreate our Paypal account for this change. If you had a subscription, please remember to pay manually this time around. Our system will remind you of an invoice regardless of whether or not you have a subscription. So what does all this mean for you? Not much, besides the fact that you're now buying from a company rather than an individual. This is more of a letter of thanks than anything, so thank you. As I usually have some sort of promotional when there is something to celebrate, I'm giving everyone a recurring 30% coupon for any existing Brohoster clients that can be used on any new website or voice server. Just enter in '***' when you are checking out (if you decide to do so), and you will only have to pay 70% of the bill for every bill you get for that service. Thank you again, Jacob Jervey
[sp]Even if I left that code there, you still wouldn't have been able to use it. It only works on existing customers[/sp]
Well done! It's great to see this becoming a real company. I will be purchasing one after payday I believe.
So today they were testing the CS:S servers and it was fun as hell, Fancy Ghost was narrating the entire thing. Hoping to buy a TF2 one from you guys at some point

one thing with the site i have noticed is that it would be good if the logo top left linked back to the main page.
one thing with the site i have noticed is that it would be good if the logo top left linked back to the main page.
I totally forgot about doing that. :gonk:
In the game servers coming soon you should post the IP to the CS:S server so people interest can try it out.
I saw your Steam group announcement for the CS: S server, but it was like 11PM and I had to get up at 6AM for work. Please don't be infested with idiots :ohdear:

Wow. The style of the site is amazing. Just, WOW. Next time I get some money, I know where i'm spending it. If it all goes well, I might even switch this to my favorite hosting website! :downs: You should add forums to the site, I think it would get popular. Also PLEASE get garrys mod servers, you would be amazing if you did.
Bought a private server. Hope it's as good as people say :)
Hey JWJ, just wondering, but do you offer any sort of uptime guarantee with your shared hosting, or VPS services? I'm currently managing all things technical for my church, and moving to Brohoster would be a leap in ease-of-management and a nice drop in cost, but I'd have to convince the wardens/etc of the benefits, and having some stats would make things a lot easier. There's no rush, as we're paying our current host by the year, so if you need some time to gather stats, no worries. Alternatively, if you don't want to host the site for personal reasons, there's no issue there either.
We currently have not had a single bit of downtime since we've started on our shared hosting. We had an issue with our London VPS cloud which took down our voice servers for about 30 minutes but we got that back online ASAP. I haven't worked out the uptime guarantee details yet, but you can take it from any of our customers that they haven't had any problems whatsoever. Also, I'm not the religious type but I have no problem hosting your websites.
Tell Harry I want to lick him.
This is really a great fucking idea. Even without ordering I felt like a bro being on the website.
I concur :buddy:
do you have any issues with me reselling your hosting to some clients? (eg add their site as an addon domain)
do you have any issues with me reselling your hosting to some clients? (eg add their site as an addon domain)
I don't really have a problem with that, but addon domains aren't a very good way to resell websites.
on shared hosting what is the best way?
Well pretty much the only way is with addon domains and dividing all your resources and giving your clients an account for each service. That's pretty much all you can do since we don't offer reseller accounts, however it would be really kickass if you got a VPS and sold shared hosting on that. It's more difficult though.
when i get a few clients under my belt i would consider moving to a vps
Bought the personal hosting service yesterday. Took a sip off my drink and the website was up and running already :woop:. (Adding up the time it took to change nameservers, I could start with doing whatever I wished within 2 minutes) This is, among various reasons, the best hosting service I've ever encountered. Massive cheers to you! (currently running it at my own domain http://elexar.com/)
when i get a few clients under my belt i would consider moving to a vps
We have a CPanel/WHM license available to you so it's a very viable solution for selling your own webhosting.
