Just purchased the personal package. I didn't realise there was a promo code until it was too late but you guys deserve all the money anyway.

[release]Brohoster is a new cheap webhosting service created with the little guy in mind. With low prices and one-on-one support with experts, you'll find Brohoster to be different. No more dealing with unexperienced outsourced support techs with fake names, we're all bros here. We have locations all across the United States as well as in the United Kingdom and Asia. With packages starting at $1.99 a month, there is something for everyone.

:siren:Use the promotional code FACEPUNCH to get 20% off of your order for a limited time!:siren:
Is the Facepunch promo code for the first month only or for all months, I am guessing its just the first month but just wanted to be sure, also I know you mention about the UK in your description but does this mean you have UK based servers?
Looking really good, thinking about starting to host here!
Cheers

Ah.. The website wasn't designed to handle 1024x768. Minimum resolution if I recall from my last test was 1280x720. However, you can zoom out in your browser to give yourself a little bit more room.

If I'm in the US, And I purchase these servers. How well my connection handle in terms of the distance? I mean, it is far, But it's also nice to have fast website.
We have multiple locations, not just the UK. What you pick when you order is where it goes. Three servers in the us, one in the uk and one in Asia.
Wow this is great.
If I set up a website in the next couple months I'm definitely using you guys.

I'm buying one right now, I already have a domain name. Do you guys have tools I can use to design a website? i'm not very good with HTML or CSS
I'm having an issue with the Email so far, I have 6 different addresses set up, They can send mail, But they can't get any email, And the default is the only one that works but the name is cut off half way because it's too long.

Is there any guide for first time users? I'm not used to cpanel.

You should've filled out a support ticket so I could get to you sooner :ohdear:. Anywho, the reason your email isn't working is because your domain isn't active yet.
And yet another crisis diverted. Thanks to JWJ (Brohoster.com) I sorted out the issue with my domain name not being active because I missed reading the fine print in the email saying it'd take 48 hours. Bonus: He even changed my .net to a .com because I was half asleep when I chose the options.
I'll be honest, This is my first web host and I never thought i'd be any smoother. I've looked at various hosts and always tried the free ones, but I never actually wanted to buy a domain name and plan from them because it sucked so badly. Where i'm at right now, I'd say that everything is smooth sailing from here. Plus customer support is super fast and super reliable. (Though I fucked up for not filing a ticket).
Take it from me Facepunch, I give Brohoster.com two thumbs up.
"We treat you like a bro, not screw you like a hoe." <- Totally true.

You guys practically have me on speed dial. :frog:
[sp]I asked the clients before posting these images.[/sp]
This is definitely going to be my first place to go when I need a website.
I suggest you don't advertise too much. Or else you might end up having too many clients and then it becomes more of a money making thing rather then hosting for the bro's.

Agreed. Don't forget your purpose!
I don't plan on it.

Good, best investment in a host I ever made. True story.
So Laetus and I were browsing around, looking at plans, and wondering if the servers are linux-based and whatnot, when we got a nice message about a chat invitation that claimed not to be automated. We had some questions, so we accepted, and got this nice popup.

Got an MSN address or something that we could ask questions on instead?
Also, is domain registration included in the hosting, or is it extra?
EDIT:
It's working now, apparently it was a one-time thing.
So yeah, just ordered a month of the group package to test it out, definitely going to be renewing my subscription. All hassles were essentially of our own making, and support was there every step of the way. We're currently only pointing a subdomain at our hosting, might move more things over later.
I really feel like getting a website now. Shame I'm not into website making and whatnot, would take ages for me to learn html and whatnot. Still, I'll keep brohoster in mind encase the time for a website ever comes.
Also, would be great if you could get more than 1GB for the personal one, not for the same price of course but as an extention. For example, I have a personal site with 1GB and then I pay a buck or two extra for another gig.

We're planning on having space/bandwidth addons soon.
