The facepunch promotional will be ending on June 9th, so if you want to get 20% off of your first bill, you better hurry!
Yeah, it's an awesome deal! I saved a whole dollar  No, but seriously, it's awesome, and more useful now that they offer quarterly and semi-annual billing.

Any ideas on what kinds of packages you'd be offering for the VPS servers? In the future, I may be looking for one for webcasting.
Any ideas on what kinds of packages you'd be offering for the VPS servers? However, what I do know is that our TeamSpeak 3 ATHP license has been approved. We can now sell TeamSpeak 3 servers to our clients directly, no middleman or reseller here as most TS3 hosts do. We're configuring our TS3 servers right this moment, so expect servers to be available by tonight.
I may purchase a Teamspeak server.
Setting them up right now :buddy:
I noticed a spelling error on your shopping cart page asking for information for transferring a domain, next to the EPP code box where it says "This needs to be obtained from the current registrar for authorisation." It should be "authorization". Just thought I'd let ya know.
TeamSpeak 3 servers are officially now on sale! Use the promotional code VOICE25 and receive 25% off your first order. Just go to order, voice servers, and pick the Teamspeak 3 package where you can select the exact amount of slots you want! :neckbeard:
Brohoster is now the only official ATHP-licensed TeamSpeak 3 provider in the entire world. Want proof? Check the map. Also ever thought of supplying mumble servers too, even though its free software it blows both vent and TS out of the water on quality and performance.
We're planning on selling VPS servers soon.
Oh fuck Oh fuck. Just what I need
Even though its free software it blows both vent and TS out of the water on quality and performance.
I love my clans mumble server even though its not a very secure piece of software 3 people hacked themselves admin rights.
Is it like...as widely used as TS?
Not yet, but it has some cool features instead, such as positional audio
Join'd, just went with the personal option for now but may upgrade later if I need the extra disk space or bandwidth :)

Does anyone else here use it? [editline]02:15PM[/editline]
Join'd, just went with the personal option for now but may upgrade later if I need the extra disk space or bandwidth :)
Welcome aboard! :D
What if I'm completely new to hosting a site? What wold I need for lets say...a blog together with my own email, using it as a kind of diary?
@Killuah: You could just use the cheapest plan and install wordpress. Wordpress allows you to just blog without having to know about (x)html, css etc.
We have Fantastico on the cPanel so you can install Wordpress easily.
That's nice. Does anyone else here use it?
There is quite a few people who do, hexxeh's teamspeak server is going to be moving too it apparently and the same with a few groups I know.
Hm, perhaps we should start selling Mumble hosting? Does anyone have much experience with Mumble and whether or not it's good for commercial hosting?
It's OK with commercial hosting but mumble is one of those things that's better off being sold with a game server as like a free goody.
Well unfortunately we don't sell game servers at the moment. :v:
There is quite a few people who do, hexxeh's teamspeak server is going to be moving too it apparently and the same with a few groups I know.
We're going to be seriously considering it. Thanks Reag.
Just some magical insight into the extents I've gone to make sure everything runs smooth and we know when something goes wrong right away..

I take credit for this :smug:
We're going to be seriously considering it. Thanks Reag.
No problem vlad, you're doing something decent for once and not screwing people over so I don't mind making suggestions.
And just for shits and giggles.. :smug:
Made me smile. :v:
What if I'm completely new to hosting a site? What wold I need for lets say...a blog together with my own email, using it as a kind of diary?
I don't know anything about html or owning a site and installing wordpress was a breeze.
Here's a nice roundup: What we're currently offering:

Shared hosting
Domains
TeamSpeak 3 servers
Plans for the future:

Mumble servers (coming soon!)
Gameservers (source) (a little later)
VPSs (more distant future, but coming, most likely)
Any suggestions, guys? :D
Possibly gameservers too. And in other related news, I've completed the backend module for WHMCS so it can manage TeamSpeak 3 servers automatically. I'll be working on an interface for clients tomorrow so our clients can stop, start, restart, and mess around with other stuff on their TS3 servers directly from the client area.

I'm having a really weird issue where I can connect to my site through a proxy or from a different internet connection, but not from my home connection. I realise this isn't brohoster's fault but was wondering if anyone has any suggestions? I've just emailed my ISP asking if they can look into it. So far I've found that the domain name lookup works fine and the ip is resolved, but when my browser tries to connect to the site, the connection just times out. Using cPanel through a free web proxy is a pain because the proxies add banners and mess up css etc. Hoping to get it sorted soon so I can start making use of brohoster's excellent hosting service :)
