MaxMind has deemed your order to be potentially high risk and therefore it has been held for manual review. :wtc:
Sorry daimao, I'll set your order to approved.
Sorry daimao, I'll set your order to approved.
Thank you.
Okay, I set your order to not fraud. Dunno why that happened and I can't check till I get home. [editline]12:19PM[/editline] Actually I was able to check and it said there was a small chance of you using a proxy and the free email didn't help either.. But most people here have free email so I'm gonna disable that check.
Super nice customer service. Very satisfied.
I could do with some assistance here. Could I have a link to another site hosted on the UK server to see if that works? And if possible a link to a site on one of the US servers? Thanks

I can't see the site at all, just gives me a page not found error, for both the normal url and the cPanel url. Also both links above work for me! Very strange!

I'm using chrome to connect and it says:
This web page is not available. The web page at http://photorealisticgaming.com/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address. More information on this error Below is the original error message Error 101 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET): Unknown error.
Yeah I can access the site from uk based proxies and from other internet connections. I've emailed my isp but dunno if they're gonna be very helpful. [editline]03:24PM[/editline] Also I've tried flushing my DNS cache but that didn't help.
PM me your IP and I'll check some things.
I'm behind a somewhat restrictive firewall, on a university campus network. But I know that ftp works and I was able to connect to my website with no problems on my own host. I'll PM you my IP but it may not be very helpful for you :). [editline]03:37PM[/editline] Ah fuck it, I'll tell you here, pretty sure the network is secure. My IP is 192.168.0.206 but that's assigned by my windows xp router machine; The XP router is using the IP 10.49.81.254 assigned by DHCP from my campus ISP. My external IP is 195.194.187.200 :)
Okay, I just checked your IP address in the firewall and it says your IP was blocked for logging into the CPanel with the wrong password 10 times in under 5 minutes. I've unblocked your IP.

Nice one man, I can access my site now at www.photorealisticgaming.com and the cPanel at port 2082. Thanks very much for the excellent service! Much appreciated!
No problem, it's what were here for.
I wonder when those Source servers are coming. :]
Hopefully in a few months. In the meantime, we've activated the Affiliate system. Want to help Brohoster and get stuff in return? If you're a current member of Brohoster you can go sign up on the affiliates system by clicking Affiliates at the top of the client area. You'll get 20% of whatever the client you refer to us pays. Then all you have to do is click withdraw whenever you want to get some of the money back, and we'll credit it to your account. :smug:
If you guys got real cheap source servers that would be sweet. Like 1000 fps 11 slot CS:S servers for like $20, I would buy one in a heart beat.
1000 fps
...what?

1000 fps
...what?
I was going to comment on that. Source servers have their own FPS, but why in the world would you need it at 1k? The game isn't accurate enough to need that.
Registry
Registry
...okay.
If you guys got real cheap source servers that would be sweet. Like 1000 fps 11 slot CS:S servers for like $20, I would buy one in a heart beat.
You only really need 250-500fps, 1000 is overkill.
1k isn't over kill. 10,000 fps is overkill.
Guys...are you talking about frames per second? I am confused.
It's frames per second, but the FPS on the server is different from the FPS on clients.. It's not rendering frames, rather physics and logic frames. The ticks just determine how often it takes a snapshot/sends the data to the client.
Ah, I see.
