It's probably not a good idea to take control of the whole Windows folder.
This. Only take control of the things you need to. 1776. Blegh, horrible fucking year.
I'm crying with laughter over the thought of how you managed to do this.
I once got the find command and the delete command mixed up while working from a live cd. Safe to say, the rest of the day was spent salvaging the entire contents of my user directory.
Actually, you can take control of the windows folder and replace stuff if needed, for example installing a custom explorer.exe.
I tried that, the shit wouldn't work for me.
Fuck now I just deleted cmd.exe, I wanted to see if I would be able to and unfortunately I was. Not even kidding here. :v:
Can't you just sneeze it back, like a reverse sneeze. You seems to be good at that, sneezing that is.
TerabyteS, please just stop touching system files.
K now he's just killing time. Kinda epic way to have fun IMO :D
Just unplug your computer and never touch it again, you don't deserve to use on.
i guess it makes no difference between Ultimate or professional versions etc?
Just unplug your computer and never touch it again, you don't deserve to use on.
The problem is, I'm way too good at this shit not to fuck up :v:
Isn't it supposed to not delete explorer.exe if it's running? [editline]edit[/editline] Shit, bad reading. Rate me dumb...
Hi, I accidentally replaced explorer.exe using a linux distro and now I'm stuck without a GUI and I have to open applications using the task manager. If anybody has a copy of explorer.exe (C:\windows\explorer.exe) 32bit from win7 could you please send it to me? [editline]21st July 2011[/editline]

I accidentally threw the CD in the garbage disposal. Yeah, I sneezed that time too.

Fuck now I just deleted cmd.exe, I wanted to see if I would be able to and unfortunately I was.
Lol, Try Again
What
You should get a job in a computer repair shop. :downs:
i would absolutely pay money to have you make my pc faster!!!!
i would absolutely pay money to have you make my pc faster!!!!
Deleting the entire Windows folder would make it faster for sure. Less stuff to load on startup
Deleting the entire Windows folder would make it faster for sure. Less stuff to load on startup
I'm not sure as of whether that will improve start up time. Seeing as there will be nothing to start.
i guess it makes no difference between Ultimate or professional versions etc?
Actually, every install of Windows 7 is the Ultimate edition internally, it just blocks off different bits of itself if you have a "lesser" edition. How do you think Windows Anytime Upgrade works so quickly?
Can someone upload 64 bit version of explorer.exe? I replaced it with one from a theme, and I'm trying to restore it but it seems my backup is gone.

It's so obvious. He's trying to get you all to send the system files of Windows 7 one by one until he has collected enough to upgrade his Vista to Windows 7. It's all a conspiracy.
TerabyteS, please just stop touching system files.
What's wrong with updating the access and modification times?
