Gateway's are pretty good.
Got this Asus one at a garage sale, had to reformat the hard drive, but I got it for 300 bucks instead of 1200 in a shop
Gateway's are pretty good.
Gateways, Hps and another brand are the laptops that are most prone to overheat and burn out. I had a gateway laptop, way back, came with a 9800m gts, burnt out under a year of use. Didn't even bother wasting my time with it's warranty, I got a sager with 280m GTXs sli'd and a quad core, no over heating so far, it's been almost a year.
I'm enjoying my Asus G73JH With the ATI Mobility 5870 I can play any games at ultra high settings.
My friend was getting that laptop, He placed the order n everything, but it was out of stock, so he decided to get the Sager NP8850 because of the 480m GTX. Should arrive soon, can't wait to see how it'll run. The laptop which I had, can't remember the name, didn't have a good enough cooling system to cool down the 9800m gts at the time. Last I checked they didn't give an option for choosing which cooling system you want in your laptop.
www.sagernotebook.com Great value, Great performance, Great look. What more could you want?
This. ^ I love Sager, I'm getting one in two months. :keke:
Cool, decided on which one? I got the np8120, but a while back, one with 280m gtxs sli and non i7 cpu.. I contacted them about upgrading the cpu but my laptop doesnt support i7 :( Though, I will be getting a gpu upgrade to the 480m gtxs sli once the gpu gets enough mobile support for sli.
I totally want dual cards in SLi and an i7. Just makes sense.

i got an acer aspire 6935, works quite well if i do say so myself, but i'm saving for a desktop, that's the way to go
MSI makes nice ones too, but they can't compare to a Sager. :)
I have a Gateway, which is basically Acer. It came with no crapware (besides Norton D:) and runs games excellently. In my opinion. For a laptop. It's basically the same as my old PC that I upgraded earlier this year. It's not THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST but it's awesome for the price. Oh by the way using it now lol
