I just use winamp with FLAC for music, and media player classic for video

If you want compatibility - VLC.

organization and a powerful base for useful addons like fetching album art from last.fm
and that's where f2k comes in!

Also, you realise foobar can minimise to tray (and still be usable) for 0% screen usage?
actually just ditch that if you use playlists properly you can control the whole thing with the windows 7 component
refering to myself
never noticed you would post

this is pretty much all you need
album cover normally goes there but i don't have one
I used to mod the crap out of foobar2k when I used it. Since I started using Spotify, I can't see any use of foobar2k anymore, unless there's some kind of spotify plugin for it. :saddowns:
I'd say go with foobar.

Try Aimp :iia:
I use VLC
Meh its good for me for moives
I use MediaMonkey and it served me well so far
Foobar is good, but I prefer Mediamonkey. You need to tweak it for a while to make it not look like shit though.

Ooh. What skin is that?
A slightly modded monolite.
Spotify looks good, gonna try it today.
Quick question, my dad rips CDs to his computer so he can put them onto his phone's MP3 player, but all the tracks never get the correct information or number themselves in the track name '01 - Song name', is there any way to easily stop/fix this that somebody who doesn't know too much about computers could do?

Foobar, it's tiny and it's great.
Is there a program that can sync my android with my music folder? WMP does it, but it's kinda tedious.

Doesn't the Android winamp app do it?

Ill check it out
This thread is from last year.
Well fuck.
Also, WinAmp is terrible on android. It keeps crashing and you have to unlock the phone to change the track, and the sync is more tedious than WMP.

Uhhh, lock screen player controls, enable them. Crashing is a problem with your phone/android ROM. It works awesomely on my old zte blade.

I'm using a HTC so that may be the problem. Thanks for trying to help though :downs:

I'm pretty sure HTC Sense has lock screen media controls too, just check WinAmp's settings. I can't do anything about your crashing issue though, sorry.
