Now that we've got that guy out of the way(for now), ^this^ is probably the best build you'll get with your budget
Hell no it's unbalanced and OP probably needs windows
Hell no it's unbalanced and OP probably needs windows
It's not unbalanced... pairing an i5 with a mid-range card isn't unbalanced. Here's some advice: Stop remaking accounts and stop giving advice. Please.

You're way too adamant at this, it's unhealthy.
You're way too adamant at this, it's unhealthy.
Not getting any proof, every other person agrees that you should pay more for your gpu than cpu
Not getting any proof, every other person agrees that you should pay more for your gpu than cpu
One word: Budget.
One word: Budget.
One word: irrelevant
One word: irrelevant

Also, what gaming PC would you reccomend for around 500 pounds budget? (No AMDs please) Thanks.

*facepalm* Budget has nothing to do with balance
All you seem to be doing is coming into this thread and talking shit about us doing our best to help the OP, all the while giving him false advice and disregarding the things he's asked for when he requested our help. Just face facts that you're out of your depth and leave us alone already, there's nothing you can do to recover from your stupidity and dickishness.

I'm 90% sure you're trolling at this point.
I'm 90% sure you're trolling at this point.
I'm laughing at your stupidity
What exactly are you trying to prove with all of this?
What exactly are you trying to prove with all of this?
Your lack of understanding of the concept of balance
An X4 paired with a 7850 is unbalanced. The X4 is old and bad, and the 7850 is relatively new and decent. A 4570 paired with an R9 270 is not unbalanced. Their both new and both on the mid-range spectrum. But please tell me how your build is better since it has an older and slower everything. Did he ask for an OS? I see no mention of it, so he could not need one, want to use a free one, etc. And since he already has a computer there's a good chance of being able to reuse one.
An X4 is a decent CPU, I don't know where you guys are getting your info. If you have a mid ranged card (which the 7850 is) the X4 and the i5 will pretty much be on par with each other (There will probably be a ~10-15% FPS difference depending on the game)

There's also the issue of it not really being a quad core processor (it's more like a dual core with HT) and the fact that it's worse than the current rig the OP has. Plus there's the issue of the 750k being 3 generations old.
You're comparing an $80 athlon with a $200 i5
No, Troll was making the comparison that the 750k and the i5 were the same, which they aren't.
Piledriver isn't even last gen, i think you're talking about the platform
The 750k is 3 generations of APU old. It's based on the Trinity core (Ax-5xxx), with the next being the Richland (Ax-6xxx) and followed by the Kaveri (Ax-7xxx.) And hi kevin.

(User was permabanned for this post ("alt of permabanned user" - postal))
The part that is important is that the CPU you're recommending is worse than what the OP already has Jesus christ

The difference isn't that large.
The part that is important is that the CPU you're recommending is worse than what the OP already has Jesus christ
He's looking for a new computer Jesus Christ
Even aside from this, the PC is going to be used exclusively for gaming. That's certainly the most performance intensive task, but having a good CPU is very beneficial. Faster loading times, faster productivity programs, better compression/decompression times (perhaps for downloading games/mods/addons/etc.). Gaming is a priority, not an exclusivity; it's not a console after all.

I meant to say boot times; aside from this programs will load faster in general. I wasn't referring to game loading times.
