Then you're no better than the IE fanboys. I'd say worse, because fanboys usually have a reason for liking something.
Fixed.
Yeah, that's very bad design. Are you guys sure the tab bar doesn't expand down under the address bar when there's many tabs? That would totally make me ditch IE9 if I were a IE8 user.
It doesn't expand.
the tabs just get smaller as more are opened
-snip-
Lol, guess I won't be using it then.
Haha, that's it, I'm not using IE9.
You realize it's the same thing with every single browser right? Disabling system security features won't just make you more vulnerable in IE9, but in every application you run.
The last good Firefox version that was released was 3.0.x. 3.5, 3.6, and 4.0 all suck ass.
I was forced to use Chrome for 4 and a half months. I hated Chrome.
Our spare room computer is filled with so much trash, compliments of my sister, that the only browser that will even start is Safari, so I'm forced to use that. And it's crap.
Sorry man I just stopped reading there. Apparently you hate everything, so now I understand why you blindly hate IE9. I'm not gonna argue against baseless claims, so let's leave it at that.
I like it, my only problem with it is for some reason I can't log into any website. Period. Does anyone know what configuration I need to change? It's probably something stupid that carried over from my IE8...
I basically login, the page thanks me for logging in, and then I'm magically logged out again.

I had the same problem and still have something similar. It would not log me in, I cleared all my cookies and temporary files and it seemed to work. I just have this thing where when I load Facepunch it says I am not logged in, but as soon as I venture off the main page it says that I am logged in.

What Open Source really means to me is "yay, free stuff!". That most of the time sucks and is unstable and horribly designed.
are you fucking retarded
I love the pin/jumplist/icon overlay/controls features. The only thing that I don't like is that it seems scrolling with the mouse wheel is slow now that I've use Chrome so much.
All in all I give it a 9/10 (no reference intended).
They need to fucking remove the focus rect from links though. Shit's annoying. Fuck it remove the focus rect from windows all together. Shit's annoying.
IE9 is really good compared to older versions and it can actually be some real competitor for Firefox, Opera and others
$0.02
Well this is quite nice actually. Not as good as the other browsers still, but it's definitely better than the previous versions, most noticeably in the UI department. IE7/IE8's GUIs were fucking baffling and horrible to use, so I'm glad they changed it to something that not only looks much cleaner but is also easier to use.

I can't help but think that the whole 'tabs net to the address bar' thing is pretty unnecessary though, since they've got a huge bar of empty space above that taken up only by the close buttons.
I see your words but no proof.
Please tell me how or get out.
IE is not my favourite browser, but this one ain't terrible at nothing.
It has a few hicups, but it's still a beta, and I still think it's definately good.
It's not the best thing in the world, but at least MS is trying.
Resembles chrome to much

Point being?
Still no rounded corners?
I wounder how many new security bugs they put in now, UAC doesnt do much at all, you still have to press Allow for it to even start, best bug i saw in IE8 was that it gave full file system access without even asking sometimes, even with UAC enabled
Is it only mine that wont load the Acid3 test?
Acid3 test is a stupid way to rate a browser.
Also, APNG is NOT a standard, stop complaining about the lack of support. I have never seen it seriously used outside of Facepunch avatars.
