Redsn0w has a jailbreak out for all models, but it's currently Mac only.

That article says that I can jailbreak my MC iPod Touch 2G, but it gets stuck at 'waiting for reboot'. God fucking dammit.

I am on an iPhone 3Gs on 4.0.1 with SHSH for 4.0 and 4.0.1 stored. Is it possible to get jailbroken 4.1?
The new redsn0w can jailbreak 4.1, but it's only on mac at the moment.

And as usual, redsn0w is only for the devices that are vulnerable to the 24K bootrom exploits (iPhone 3G, iPod Touch 2G MB*, and maybe some of the early 3GS)

I went through the hazzle to get Mac to work on a virtual machine to get my hands on the jailbreak. When the IPSW is downloaded, it automatically unzips and becomes a folder. :frown:

Actually, I tried it again, and it sorta kinda worked. But after the jailbreak is complete, no "iOS Changing"-features will work, like enabling multitasking and the likes.
I tried Snowbreeze as well, but it broke after I updated Cydia.
You can enable all those 'iOS changing features' manually, it's just a simple text edit.

Does anyone know how to get the Grooveshark app? I've searched for it on Cydia and Rock (even though Rock's practically gone now) and found nothing, and the Grooveshark site mentioned nothing about adding a source. I googled as well just in case and couldn't find any source to add.

If it deleted everything and you couldn't open anything, then you did something wrong.
It is very possible to download paid apps for free, but this should not be discussed on facepunch as it is against the rules.

Yeah, you download an application off Cydia called Installous, which works similar to the App store, apart from you can download paid apps for free by going on a certain link it gives you
