PC hard freezes while doing something resource demanding

Installed windows 7 on it, formating my drive etc. The problem is still there.
I have seriously run out things to do :suicide:
What happens if you run your graphics off the Intel integrated GPU?

How do I do that ? And I don't think that GPU is the problem, if there is anything wrong with the GPU it tends to cause artificating etc etc.
Right-click the desktop, choose Screen Resolution.
Click advanced settings. At adapter settings, choose Properties.
In the Driver tab, click Update Driver... Use Browse my computer for drivers. Choose to let you pick from a list of device drivers on your computer. In here, you can specify the driver you want to use, choose the Intel Integrated Graphics one and once done installing restart your computer.
No luck, still crashes.
Did you use standoffs correctly?
What are those ?
Standoffs seperate your motherboard from the case, they're little brass screws that screw into your case, and your motherboard screws go into them. Make sure they match up with the holes in your motherboard, and take out any extra, you don't want them shorting something.
I looked around inside my computer and everything seemed fine
Things have changed, before I could play games what don't take much perfomance (older games) etc just fine but now I freeze while playing vice city for example.
I seriously have no idea what the hell to do anymore.

Did you RMA the motherboard?

Nope.
also whenever I crash, my event logs gives this error
Event filter with query "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage > 99" could not be reactivated in namespace "//./root/CIMV2" because of error 0x80041003. Events cannot be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected.
nevermind, fixed that error. computer still crashes.

Did you try updating the bios? Try that. If that doesn't work, RMA the motherboard.
Also just to be sure, where can I find out what revision or smth my motherboard is.
It should say on the motherboard as text or a sticker, it should also say in the BIOS. While in the BIOS, check the BIOS revision as well, to see if you have the latest or not.
I still haven't had time to open up the computer, going to do so + update my bios today. But well I just got my first blue screen of death today.
Updated bios, it works
Dunno why it didn't work when I first updated it.

Good! So everything's working correctly now?
