AtlasHoster and all of your names sound fucking terrible.
come on guys, they all sound like shitty generic sites that would use a template.

and you can't just use atlas
I like Atlas Hosting. I'm imagining a slightly brohoster-style art, but more... Greek.

you nominated cloudminer
what the fuck does that even mean
no
I got an iron tier minecraft server with brohoster 2 or so days ago, and now I hear this, what will happen now? :saddowns:
Neat! I contributed something relevant to a thread for once in my life.
Since we're going Greek god how about Apollo Hosting/Hoster

In my opinion I would just do a chargeback, since you won't have it for long.

i'm not saying my name is better or worse, but "atlashoster". someone suggested "lethaldrive" in the IRC which is just the worst. think of all of the huge hosts. do they have shitty names that seem like something a CS:S clan full of 12 year olds would use? i.e. mediatemple?
and cloudminer, cloud is cloud computing, and miner..? should be obvious.
...
BROCOASTER.
Just finished reading the entire thread. This sums up my reaction nicely

highly entertaining
I wish you luck with any legal shit, JWJ. The way Matt used this as a cash-grab, he's probably got a mountain of skewed evidence. If he doesn't, he's just terrible at life.
In my opinion I would just do a chargeback, since you won't have it for long.
he might own his ass with legal suits, doing that is HIGHLY RUDE
I got an iron tier minecraft server with brohoster 2 or so days ago, and now I hear this, what will happen now? :saddowns:
serves you right ahahha
I'll bet this guy is used to threatening legal actions for stupid reasons.
"Don't call me a fat loser, my mommy will sue you!"

I do not think that 12 year olds really know about the myth of Atlas, and the JWJ said he likes names with meaning.
Atlas holds the world up for eternity on his shoulers, AtlasHoster keeps your servers up reliably[sp]until you stop paying[/sp]
I paid with paypal. ;\
If it's PayPal, you can just use "Dispute Payment"

Fuck, that reminds me, I haven't paid Atlas this month yet.
and you think most people would?
yes are you 12 or what
its like basic culture
Just to make sure, does this mean that Brohoster will be shut down on Monday, and that it would be good idea to cancel my servers?
Just to make sure, does this mean that Brohoster will be shut down on Monday, and that it would be good idea to cancel my servers?
He removed the cancel button

The fucking reddit threaad title is "Attention: Anyone currently running a Brohoster server. Backup *right now*. Company going under. Possible shut down at 10am on Monday."
What can you infer, Jimmy?

yes
HOWTO: Cancel Hosting
Some individuals are reporting their cancel button is now gone, if this is the case then:
1) Go to the "My services" page.
2) View the source of that page. Look for the line "<td><form method="post" action="/billing/clientarea.php?action=productdetails">"
(This should be around line 55 or so.) If you have more than one service with Brohoster, you might have that line more than once. You'll need to find the one relating to the service you want to cancel. The details for the service that the line belongs to will be a few lines above it.
3) Directly below that line, you'll see: "<input type="hidden" name="id" value="####" />" where #### is the ID of your hosting package. Remember that ID.
4) Go to https://bros.brohoster.com/clientarea.php?action=cancel&id=#### where you replace #### with the ID from step number 3.
That's it, you should now see the cancellation request form for your service.
A dissipating cancel button?
Sounds convenient.

1. 12yos aren't sophisticated enough to understand the relation between the Titan Atlas and the reliability of gameservers
2. some people thought lethaldrive was a great name, you like the name cloudminer (I think they're both shitty)
3. you said 'cloudminer' wasn't suggestive of Minecraft on the IRC you lying BITCH
you have to be seriously fucking dumb to start a legal shitstorm then do something highly illegal
do you guys think they rape people in prison for fraud like they do for pedophilia? I hope so
I feel like such a dumbass right now
It took me 20 minutes to join the IRC channel :smith:
It's been a while since I used this thing... The drama better be worth it
