Guess whose TOS recently changed?

Probably to prevent people from refunding their money.
I think it's time we stop the Highly Illegal jokes, as they are getting overused and boring. And stop calling him names, you aren't helping anyone by doing that, as I don't think anyone should get all the hate that have been directed towards Matt. Try to put yourself in his situation before you start blaming him. He might have done some bad things, but he's trying to steer it back to before all this happened. Which I see as a good thing, he might have done some awful actions, but trying to do something good is at least something in the right direction.
And I wonder if Matt have gone out with the press release/information about the situation he promised as that is something very important now, or else he might lose more customers because they don't have any idea about what it going on right now.
And Matt, calling someones landlord before calling the employee is a real dick move and you should be ashamed about that if it's true. And it would be nice of you if you gave an answer to why you did this, or if it's true/false.
And I think everyone should stop with the hate bandwagon against him. Try to help everyone else that want information about the situation instead of just blaming Matt every other post. There are still clients out there that don't have an idea what have happened or what's happening. But don't try to talk them into cancelling their service, if they're happy with it, let them be happy with it. It's not your money they're using, so why should you care? You can give them reasons and advice about other hosts, but don't force them into cancelling their services.
Also I think Matt might have forgot one thing when doing all this which is a very good rule when having a business, Always put the Customer first. As a happy customer will just bring more customers. That's how Brohoster became so successful in the beginning, because they did as much as they could to make the customers happy.
And if you can't keep up with the tickets, get one more employee, as then you can keep up with the tickets and have happy customers.
Also Matt, try to put yourself in the customers seat. Why are they angry, why are they cancelling their services? As that would help you very much because then you can see what you're doing wrong and what you're doing right. Just a tip from me.
All this is my experience from this thread. I'm not a Brohoster customer, so I can't speak on behalf of the customers, but I can get an insight of how it is to be a customer based on customer reviews and actions from this thread. Fine if you think I'm wrong, as this is my opinion on this situation, everyone is allowed an opinion.
Matt was being a prick and trying to cover it up, pretty much fucking everyone out of money if it did go under. He then started talking shit to blame everything on JWJ, even the stuff that happened after he fired him, if I was a happy customer and I was told about this I'd cancel, regardless of the quality of service I'd received. Also highly illegal.

They should notify all their customers and let them know that the ToS have changed and give them the option of accepting them or denying them.

True. That is an asshole move, and he should have informed his customers about what is happening with the company instead of just trying to hide it as everything will come back at him. Just look at the thread about selling Brohoster.
matt is starting to be in some deep shit
They should notify all their customers and let them know that the ToS have changed and give them the option of accepting them or denying them.
True. I don't know if it's illegal to not notice the customer about ToS changes, but I think it's illegal.

TOS can be easily disputed if you sue the company anyway, but yeah it's pretty illegal to have someone agree to a contract and then change it without telling them. Obviously doesn't apply to people who aren't dumb enough to keep paying for their shit.
@tehwhale I know its not up but is there 100% going to be one I was going to bye a 1gig annual server until I saw this drama so we are waiting to buy we are going to go with JWJ if he has a new service soon otherwise brohoster is what we are stuck with
Near the end of last summer I used brohoster and their service was fantastic.

Only pretty illegal? eh?
I contacted Matt about transferring my domains to my own namecheap account and he sounded cool with it at first, but he never transferred them and hasn't responded to my emails. It's been almost 4 days since he last responded. For fucks sake...
Only pretty illegal? eh?
Scream at ICANN
please do.
If a TOS (a contract between you and the company) is changed the client is supposed to be notified and has to agree to the new terms. If they do not agree to the new terms, they have the right to terminate the contract with no penalty and with refund if they're at the beginning of the billing cycle.
If brohoster is withholding your account to be refunded; contact a lawyer about breach of contract. THen contact your financial bank and put a hold on those funds (chances are they didn't go through yet) from transferring due to fraudulent activity.
Seriously, enough of those complaints will get any business licenses from Brohoster and possibly CU revoked. The rest is up to the business law in the state they're located out of.

I believe he's going with Bronado.
