Wow I'd really like to hear of someones thoughts after they compared Sr80i's and ATH-AD700 cause they both got some really good reviews.
The ad 700 headphones are excellent for gaming. I have the hd 555 they are a great all around but soft with mature bass and not overbloated. The Beyerdynamic DT770 PRO is the pair of headphones serious dj/ radio audio would recommend. Sennhesiser is also at the top list but if you want awesome sound quality get a pair of dt 770 pro with a sound card. It's like the 5850/gtx 285 of the audio world. Sennhesisers are considered more civilised yet the beyerdynamic is considered as a wild beast..sub woofer like bass and crisp sound.

Steel Series Siberia V2 just came out
I have decided to get the Creative Fatal1ty headset after creating one of these threads already.

well for your tastes you probably should have gotten the Alessandro ms1. ad700 for gaming ms1 for music
AD700 is good for music too, at least for non-audiophiles like me.
Well if I don't like the AD700's for music within the day I get them I can always return them.
You'll like both, don't worry.
You'll like both, don't worry.
Well I was looking more towards a music headphone because, I am really starting to like to get all the detail from music.
AD700 is more comfortable btw. I have both, got my MS1i yesterday. They are both very comfortable though.
AD700 is more comfortable btw.
This is the main reason I got them, my ears are incredibly sensitive when it comes to earphones. I can't stand supra-aurals for more than a few minutes and closed circumaurals aren't much better. Even the AD700s get uncomfortable after a few hours but they're far better than anything else I've tried.
Are the MS1i's better for music though?
yes
