I have a HTC one, im looking for games which support native 1080p (not upscale) if you know of please mention peace
Any gameloft game that is 3D will take advantage of whatever gpu you have But they do a shit job optimizing.
So my phone just hard bricked itself, anybody know if there are any good, reliable, ICS/JB phones for $100 or less on AT&T out there
Just got my HTC One and spent the past hour customizing it. Goddamn this screen is beautiful. I really miss Cyanogenmod, though.
anyone know where i can find the beta apk for minuum? really interested in it
anyone know where i can find the beta apk for minuum? really interested in it
there's a reddit thread on it http://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/1gmbwo/minuum_keyboard_beta_handson_ap/
Any gameloft game that is 3D will take advantage of whatever gpu you have But they do a shit job optimizing.
Ugh, Gameloft. There's a game I really like (Let's Golf 2) that I had on my old phone (HTC Vivid). It supports the HTC Vivid, and the Galaxy S2, but not the S3. How does that make sense? I can get Let's Golf 3 but it's not the same; it's free to play, which means an annoying "energy" system limiting how many holes you can play per day unless you do a bunch of microtransactions. EDIT: it's compatible with the S2 i777 but not the S2 T989. That really doesn't make sense. Even if it were dependent on a certain chipset, the Vivid has the same chipset (Qualcomm APQ8060) as the T989, and a different one from the i777 (Exynos C210). I think it just has to do with carrier agreements to bundle certain games exclusively, which is bullshit (the only reason I bought Let's Golf 2 on my Vivid was that the demo came bundled with the Rogers ROM. I wasn't even on Rogers, I just got bought a used unlocked Rogers phone.) EDIT: and transferring the APK doesn't work; it fails to download the extra files. And if you also transfer the extra obb files, it lanuches but has some weird kind of graphical bug because they purposely programmed it to not handle higher resolutions or something. EDIT: I'm only hating on their proprietary delivery system they use for most games; the ones that are on the Play Store are fine, but don't buy anything from their website [editline]19th June 2013[/editline] Gosh darnit. Geel's FP app worked perfectly on TouchWiz, and now it's not letting me log in on Cyanogen. EDIT: Oh, looks like Hexxeh's fault. I can't log in on facepun.ch either
I didn't either, so now I don't have twenty thousand unread emails. I still do, but nobody has to know that I never actually read them. :tinfoil:
We know.
I am running around with Cyanogenmod for more then a week. I noticed there is an update option in Phone Info. Can I update without having to set up everything again?
Use this instead: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cyandelta&hl=en Delta updates for CM <3
I found this on 4chan and the OP never replied: How did he get music controls next to the time? Is that a dashclock extension or DPI mod? [t]http://i.imgur.com/JhSXUzC.jpg[/t]
Hmm, so I just ran into my first disadvantage of stock Android (CM). It won't sync Facebook contacts by default. I had to flash the system APK from here, and then run the sqlite command from here, but now it works.
I'm not sure what this means, does this sync my facebook contacts to my google account??

Recommended roms for the Nexus 7? I really like stuff like PAranoid Android with the hybrid tablet UI.
Then use paranoid android?
I'm deciding between PAranoid Android and Pacman. Anyone have a dealbreaker?
Why not try out both...? It's not like you only get 1 free ROM flash and that's it.
I'm not sure what this means, does this sync my facebook contacts to my google account??
No. It pulls your Facebook contacts into a separate account on your phone. But you can "join" duplicate contacts, so if you have someone on both Google and Facebook you can add their FB picture and any additional info from FB to the same contact on your phone. This was a pretty standard feature in Gingerbread, it just got disabled in stock ICS for some political or security reason. alright, what the fuck happened to my phone (evo 3d) the battery ran out this morning, I connected the charger and tried to turn it on. It got to the miui logo, then turned off (and did that like three times). I left it to charge. Now it got stuck on the miui logo, I removed the memory card, now it doesn't turn on AT ALL. [editline]19th June 2013[/editline] I switched the batteries, now it got stuck again on the logo but red LED is flashing
I'm deciding between PAranoid Android and Pacman. Anyone have a dealbreaker?
PACman has Paranoid Android built into it, unless you just purely want Paranoid Android then flash that. Otherwise use PACman.
Any gameloft game that is 3D will take advantage of whatever gpu you have But they do a shit job optimizing.
you didnt read my question did u? i didnt ask about the games that take advantage of my gpu, but what games support 1080p native (not up scaled )
Looks like the battery is just low and my miniusb port is loose (or the usb cord), and it just didn't charge properly. I fiddled with it and the red led is off when the charger is slightly twisted
But i've always had this working, on every single android version?
Maybe because you installed HaxSync.

I finally swapped my potato Wildfire for my father's iPhone knockoff with ICS. Feels like butter.
http://www.displaymate.com/Smartphone_ShootOut_3.htm I love how they talk about how the HTC One's display blows because of image processing when literally no one else has picked up on this, even the people that completely called out the dynamic contrast. And then once you look at the numbers, it's just so obvious that the One's display is pretty much as good as it gets for LCD Android phones.
World War Z android first person shooter game is on sale for $0.99 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.Phosphor.WWZ Anyone tried this game yet?
