is it possible to set up call barring so it blocks only selected numbers? i have an xperia sp running 4.1.2 and i can only see how to do it by catagory (all outgoing, out going int, outgoing int roaming same for incoming) do i need a app to block individual numbers from being dialed?
might seem like a weird question but i cant be bothered explaining why i want to do this
Wait, you want an app that blocks outgoing calls, not incoming calls?
I finally got CM 10.1 on my SGS 2
<3 android 4.2
AOKP or CM?
CM, I don't knew what AKOP is haha
should i get a galaxy tab 2 10.1 for £230?
If you want I dunno

Welcome, brother, to the glorious land of lock-screen widgets.
should i get a galaxy tab 2 10.1 for £230?
the galaxy tab line is utter shit. Try to see if you can get a nexus 10.
Agreed. The Nexus 10 leaves all other tablets choking on its dust. Even the Nexus 7 is revealed to be a shabby child's toy when bathed in the glorious blinding light of the Nexus 10. All hail.
the galaxy tab line is utter shit.
Care to explain why?
Care to explain why?
Shit specs.
This is the galaxy tab 3 7 inch:
The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 7-inch 1024×600 screen, 3MP rear camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 8GB of expandable memory, and a 4,000mAh battery. Its priced at $199.
Release date: some time soon.
The tab 2 and galaxy tab have even worse specs. It's plastic too, so all the bad things a tablet could have are in that series: shitty resolution, plastic, shitty CPU, shitty camera, 8GB storage by default.
Here, the tab 3 8.0 inch:
the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 comes with a 10.1-inch 1280×800 WXGA display, 1.6GHz dual-core CPU, 1GB of RAM, 3MP and 1.3MP cameras, 16GB of expandable memory, and a 6,800mAh battery. It will be available for $399.
Is it me or is that very expensive for that shitty spec sheet?
Now look at the nexus 10:
price: 319 pounds (http://www.techradar.com/reviews/pc-mac/tablets/google-nexus-10-1109003/review), which is 492 dollars. Yeah it's more expensive, but:
- shit high resolution
- better camera (if you want it lol)
- stock android
- 9000 mAh battery
it's way better unless you really want a budget tablet.
Hell, even my Note 10.1 beats the galaxy tab 3 in specs and it's been out for half a year.
Yeah imo it's just a budget tablet, you get what you pay for.
the nexus 10 isn't really that good
the GPU can barely push that resolution at a decent framerate

There are a lot better 10 inch tablets out there, get the Nexus if you plan to develop I guess

I'm pretty damn sure that whatever "personal assistant" exists on the One is not going to be exclusive to the One.
Also, I fucking hate the motion gestures on the GS4 in general. Doing things like scrolling through web pages and the photo gallery using hand waves makes you look absolutely retarded most of the time and takes way more effort than just using a finger.
I think I'm in love with Paranoid Android. HALO is so cool.

Yeah, I was exaggerating just a bit. HOLOYOLO and all that. But it is a nice piece of hardware; the GPU issue is really the only thing that sucks. I'd take a Nexus 10 with a lower resolution.

Care to make any suggestions?

I doubt it works 100% of the time too, imagine trying to show a friend "Hey watch this, *waves hands 5 times to answer call*" It's like when jedi mind tricks don't work, you look absolutely stupid.

no please don't say shit like this now I want to flash PA on my Note 2. damn you
I'm still waiting for a CM rom with HALO (since it's now opensourced) baked in for the Nexus 4. Just CM and HALO, no other shit. Maybe compiled with Linaro, but if there's anything else I'm not switching.
Anyone else here uses opera mobile? Since I updated it, it became utter crap. Facepunch posts are randomly resized, it doesn't automatically fit the screen anymore, and typing is so laggy it took ten minutes to write this post

I've never used Opera since I found Dolphin.
Holy shit yes, this is so much better, thanks

I think you can still download the version before the big update somewhere, but I just use Opera Mini instead, it's blazing fast, simple and works on any potato.
And if I need a browser that supports newer formats I just use Sleipnir with disabled gestures because those just get in the way.

Scratch that, I just tried Dolphin mini and I'm blown away.
All the good things of opera mini and fixes for the bad things.
I'm buying a Galaxy S4 today. Am I making a terrible mistake? Are there much better phones out there? Wisdomise my ignorant ass on the issue.

Depends on what you want. Only bad thing in my opinion about that phone is that the screen is fragile due to being so large, thin and exposed.
[editline]23rd June 2013[/editline]
Oh and it is pretty big. But then again, all phones are big now.

Any two cents you can give me on phones currently on the market? Also, the screen being fragile isn't a big deal, I'm a careful person, and if that's the only qualm you have with the phone, it appears it's a good phone, yeah?

I've heard somewhere that even though it has an overclocked snapdragon, it still has random lagspikes when Navigating the homescreen and such.
Of course this won't be an issue if you plan on rooting and flashing anyways so yeah.
Here is a good comparison with the Nexus 4:

That is actually a brilliant review. Cheers man.
Installed CPUtuner, idle power use over 12 hrs dropped from 10-ish % to 4 %
