I'm still surprised it took this long before someone made a phone with two front facing speakers like that.
You'd be surprised. Try this the next time you're applying the protector: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dt9_fZDT-As Not only you'll apply it so perfectly you'll want have sex with yourself for being that good, but it also REALLY lowers the chance of getting dust under the protector. AND if you get dust under it, you can try to peel it off (partially just to get to the place, not the entire thing, that 100% ruins your chances of applying it without dust again) and use a piece of duct tape to remove the dust particle, then place it back. Also, wipe the screen. A LOT. IMO it's best to use a slightly wet tissue, wipe it clean, then use microfiber cloth to make sure there's as little dust as possible and then use a a piece of duct tape (some screen protecors come with "dust removal stickers" - basically just pieces of waxed paper and a sticky side, just like any decent brand/logo stickers etc) and clean the entire phone screen like so. Then follow the first video I linked. Success and glory await you and your phone.
Yes, it is also possible to do all of it with scotch tape or painter's tape. You can alternatively use a lint roller to roll the lint off the screen before applying the protector. Make sure you do a bunch of dry runs before actually peeling off the adhesive cover and dropping the screen protector and make sure you position it perfectly. [editline]29th June 2013[/editline]
I'm still surprised it took this long before someone made a phone with two front facing speakers like that.
The big issue is that it takes a lot of bezel and it's generally harder to do.
Ugh, why the f*** should I care about style. I like red, I don't care about contrast or visibility, I can tap correct icon from memory if the light is too strong to see well. I don't understand why people have the need to articulate such useless opinions.... Freedom of speech is great if not for all
I WILL PUNCH YOUR POLISH ASS OUT OF EXISTANCE
It's the HTC One or the Galaxy S 4 or the Xperia Z. (actually just the HTC One, it is the best the best)
Anyone got an app that restrict data usage to 2g/edge when the mobile is idle, and go back to 4g/LTE when hhe screen is on?
I WILL PUNCH YOUR POLISH ASS OUT OF EXISTANCE
Oh how I miss this
Haven't seen PyroCF or Ezhik in ages in this thread until now. Nice to see more familiar people around again. On-topic: I've yet to try the black version of the HTC One in my hand. They only have the silver version everywhere I go.
I don't understand why everyone is all up in arms about front facing buttons and want them all gone. Fuck Google. I like my menu button and I wish I also had a search button too.
I would never use a search button, although I would assign it to do something else.
I never tried, but does keeping WiFi on all day reduce battery life noticeably? Because if it currently does, and Google did that change for 4.3, it would sound like they're really confident about optimization and reduced battery usage. Speaking of that, some people seem to be reporting that the leaked 4.3 uses about 500MB RAM, whereas 4.2.2 used about 800-900MB on the Galaxy S4. [editline]29th June 2013[/editline] dear god, Ezhik is back with another perfect trophy from XDA
If I had to manually disable and enable wifi to get good battery life on Android, I would be using an iPhone. This is coming from a Galaxy Nexus user. I've been doing it on my last three phones without problems. The only time I manually disable wifi is when I'm in my driveway and the phone sees my wifi router, though can't reliably communicate with it. Or when I'm tethering through USB and the phone is trying to talk to a wifi router when I want to get a 3G connection.
Why is per-app DPI all the rage with ROMs What's the thought process behind it in the first place "Hey let's make the UX as inconsistent as possible!"
I love solid browser, connecting to ftp servers were so easy.
Wow, I converted from SwiftKey to Google Keyboard. Google Keyboard is so much better. SwiftKey's auto-correct got in the way more than it actually solved any problems. I couldn't type fucking shit without it second-guessing me. Google Keyboard is the perfect mix of convenient and unobtrusive.
because some people just don't care Personally I like some apps in different DPIs, like I prefer the browser in 120 DPI/tablet UI mode
I guess I could see it for the tab management but the different size UI elements would drive me nuts.

I just type what I'm thinking without really looking too much and most of the time it will nail exactly what I wanted.

Snapdragon 800 just trashes 600 in every possible way it isn't even funny.
Just got an Android phone and decided to check out Google Play. Holy hell, people want money for everything, why does an overwhelming amount of unofficial ports of freeware open-source software cost money? How are people legally allowed to sell graphical elements, sound effects and screenshots from a licensed game?

Thinking of getting the Otterbox commuter for my phone considering the flip case does fuck all for protection. Worth it at $30, you think?
Thinking of getting the Otterbox commuter for my phone considering the flip case does fuck all for protection. Whether or not its worth it is up to you but its definitely a good case.

Sounds like it fits the bill.
Not much of a punishment, HTCs are quietly brilliant after all. [sp]Unless the tagline's changed at some point...[/sp]
When I got my HTC Desire and I turned it on - it started to play some fucking loud sound whilst it was typing (or before, I don't remember) Quietly brilliant... rite. But tbh, I like HTC - it was just a bit ironic.
My Nexus 4 is finally coming tomorrow! I'll make sure to post pics and stuff.
