I had Sprint 56k service in 2000... and then they disappeared from Canada. Good riddance.
Fuck :v:
Latest MIUI sends my phone into a bootloop. It won't mount /cache for some reason.

Fastboot wipe cache. Or wipe it.

Tried it.
I figured out the root of the problem by the way, apparently TWRP >2.3.3 is broke as fuck with anything that isn't an AOSP ROM, at least on my device. Oh well.

Wow, since when did MIUI starting replacing so much of Android?
getting a new phone, what should I get? budget $200
The motor died.
Meanwhile on the One I have to actually set the motor lower because it will vibrate itself off of tables.
[editline]1st July 2013[/editline]
You need to give the screen time. If it's more than 5 hours of screen on you are the new god of the battery life.
Is it easy to replace that motor myself or should I send it in?
downloaded the Google Keyboard on my GSII, can't access the options, gives a "Google Keyboard has stopped working."
Oh, this time it rebooted and Android is upgrading as well.
Weird, I hadn't downloaded any updates...
~Twatted by Canary on my Laptop Windows 8~
Skype no longer takes 20 seconds to login now. Yay!
I can't even find out where to logout of the new Skype or find the settings.......or should I just go to bed?
Question. Xperia Neo, custom cm10.1 rom, everything works sept wifi. People told me flash wifi modules. I dunno how, help :v
(Ironically enough, i've did everything and fixed the bluetooth, might switch to lupus kernel, but first i need to learn how to flash the wifi modules, lupus requires that too.)
You've to go to your profile by pressing the top-right circle where your avatar peeks in from
Yeah the new Skype app looks better and actually runs faster too.
I can actually use IM! I haven't tried using voice or video calls yet.
I like the steam apps chat ui, it works well and fast on my phone

Except your phone's resolution belongs on a smartwatch :v:
All of the app is terribly shit blurry on 720p, legacy menu button, iOS look, lacks new navigation drawer...
0/10 would not search for on Play Store
How would I go about getting better battery life on my S3?
It barely lasts me a day at college
Devs fault for not having high res images.

I had the same problem, still haven't found a solution. Resorted to getting a cheap external charger from ebay.

Do you get shitty signal when you're inside classrooms? Try turning on airplane mode or switching to 2G when you're in class. Also, you can try Greenify. It'll hibernate apps when your screen is off, so they won't drain your battery.

Yeah I do get shitty signal and I know that affects it, but I also just get shit battery life even when I'm at home
I'm now on my second day with my Nexus 4. I love Android and how everything works along with the hardware but god the phone is hot! If I use it for too long the phone really heats up even when it's not running an incredible amount of apps. Are most Android phones this hot or is it just me? Other than that I'm really liking the phone, such a big screen!

Go check out HTC's mid-low range phones.

It's a feature.
I overclocked my phone and now I can use it as a frying pan.
There are solutions to reduce the heat, but it depends on how experienced you are with flashing kernels and running scripts with them, or undervolting.
Edit: for example I'm running the current alpha of _m+ kernel and a script to activate the Simple GPU governor. Not only the phone feels smoother but the heat isn't nearly as bad during regular tasks (web browsing etc). It still gets warm during gaming, but again, not as warm as it used to get.

I'm just not so sure I want to flash a kernel yet since I don't want to void my warranty yet. I have rooted a Nook tablet before and am obviously not an idiot when it comes to tech. I've heard a lot of people talk about a "Franco" kernel but at least would want to wait a while before trying a custom kernel.
I flashed a colonel once and got arrested
I flashed a kernal once and iCole had a stroke
make that two strokes as of now.
Anyway, personally I feel like Franco kernel is very overrated. People claim to have much better battery life on it, but that wasn't my case. In fact, during very graphic intensive gaming, the phone was slower with it.

A lot (if not everything) on XDA is over-rated. I could post a stock ROM and claim I 'tweaked' it etc and you'd get a large majority saying it works.

Much better than 'PHONW BRICKED DO NOT uSE IT IS HORRIBLE"
Well, my GSII's home button's gotten loose-ish, it jiggles in the socket.
