Google Keyboard suffers from the "probably" swiping problem too. half of the time it'll give you EVERYTHING apart from "probably".
doesn't do that for me
Spotify streams 320kbps btw.
I thought it was 256? Unless they changed it.
Black obviously but dat glitter.
It's actually really cool, and not noticeable most of the time. If light isn't directly reflecting from it, it looks like a black glass plate.
And most photos in reviews or generally on the internet make it look like it's REALLY visible, but that's because of the flash in said photos.
Ffffffffffffffffffuck
just why
I doubt it'd fall under warranty, the insides are white while the front is black
I'm 100% boned
If Samsung are responsible for your phone breaking, then Samsung should fix it. Unless the 100$ repair was from an uncertified party or unless you broke that shit yourself you have every right for warranty. The thing can't be two years old.
Try warranty anyway. You can have an angry letter conversation if it doesn't work.
How am I going to tell my dad
"Oh yeah you know how you dropped £100+ to repair my phone? it died by itself overnight, and the warranty is void"

I really need to find a job so I can pay for my own stupidity :suicide:
You don't have to be in warranty for samsung to fix your phone if it's the sudden death bug since it's a manufacturer issue.
My i9300 has a tendency to crash randomly, no matter what ROM i'm using.
My i9300 has a tendency to crash randomly, no matter what ROM i'm using.
Crash in what way?
Crash in what way?
Reboots randomly, with pretty much any app I have open.
Ha! I had the same problem with an S2. Turns out it was a faulty motherboard.
But it took me 4 months to convince the [del]repair[/del] RETARD center of that.
You're gonna have to mow lawns for a long time, son. Maybe one day you'll earn enough to buy yourself an SK17a/i.
lol people still think you can get a job mowing lawns in 2013

did the "son" not tip you off that I was being facetious

Hmm, I was gonna say it was the clipboard bug, but that was fixed in 4.1.2. So yeah, probably a motherboard defect.
Streaming music is too unreliable for me. But if I ever did use a streaming service it would be Music Unlimited since they stream in 320kbps, which AFAIK is the only service to do so.

Spotify streams 320kbps btw.
I prefer Pandora personally because I'm not a huge music person and I'm okay with them randomly giving me things, and the fact that 320kbps would destroy my data cap.
On a scale of girly to manly, it's manly.
Unless we're talking about the white version, which is sorta half-way between those two.
well that doesn't really matter anymore because no more white nexus 4s
Not true. It's coming to Canada's Play Store, WIND Mobile and Videotron. IIRC it's also available in India through LG.
It's a limited edition. And yes, first time some company used that term correctly in years.
Does anyone know a way to get 180 degree screen rotation on a Nexus 4? I'm running PA 3.60 (June 11 build). I used to have it on my old HTC Hero. That was running some old-ass version of CM though. There was an option in the CM settings to enable/disable the various screen orientations.
I actually found an app that allows you to do it, but it's old as fuck and has an ongoing notification, so I'd rather not use that. The reason I'm asking is because I need my phone for navigation, and there is no way in hell that my Nexus 4 will last for 5-6 hours with the screen on, unless the charger is plugged in. The big issue is that I don't have a car mount, so my phone sits in the cupholder, blocking off the USB port (unless i can have it upside down, obviously).
Latest CM has that, and it works for almost anything, apart from a few games.
Otherwise I have no idea. I think there was an app that could do it too but most of these apps must have an ongoing notification so Android doesn't kill them in the background. CM has this deeply integrated so there's no notification.

Are you sure about this?
It's an i9300, I replaced the front assembly myself, but I didn't damage a single thing inside the phone doing so, it was working 100% fine for a few days
If so I can tell my dad the good news :v:
Good thing feature for us htc one owners. HTC One ‘Switch’ takes you from Sense to a Google edition LINK

Alright I thought I'd post a couple of pics of my Nexus which I guess now is kinda rare being that they don't sell the white model anymore.

This is my first Android phone and "real" Android device. (I had a Nook Tablet which doesn't count)

Cool
Can anyone recommend some cases that might save the glass should it get dropped/knocked?
So I decided to have an early night last night, using my S3 as normal, I sent a text and a few snapchats and then leave it on the table next to my bed charging. I wake up about 4 randomly and decide to unplug it because it's charged, then I see a few more messages but I ignore them because I'm tired.
Then when I wake up about an hour ago and do my usual reach for my phone to check the time, it's completely dead, not even plugging the charger in does anything.
I just tried to unscrew it all and prod any loose connectors, mainly the screen one but they're all secure, so I have no idea what's happened, has the battery shit out on me? I really don't want the phone to be dead immediately after I get a £100+ repair done on it
eMMC sudden death syndrome. Samsung will do free repairs for you.
I'm hoping you guys are right about the free repairs stuff, I'll give them a call when my dad gets home tomorrow, he has all the purchase details
I've had my Galaxy S4 for about a month now and am thinking about rooting it. But I was wondering, will it delete all of the original Samsung software and bring it back to stock Android mode? I've only dabbed in a bit of iphone jailbreaking so I'm not sure what to expect. Reason I'm asking is because I've gotten used to some of the samsung UI features..
No, it will not

What you described is more of "flashing a ROM" than "rooting". Rooting only gives you and your apps (provided they need it and you allow them to) admin privileges.

oh shit :v: I think this is the best one in a long long time.

I'm using a Diztronic case and a Poetic case at the moment. The Diztronic is very nice and protective but kind of slick and slippery while the Poetic looks great but is not very protective. I'd recommend checking out a dual layer case like the Seido Kickstand. If you want I also made a wishlist of some different cases I was looking at on Amazon.
I just use the cheap silicone case that came free with my phone.

Wait a fucking minute.
is that a pistol used as a signal bar? :suicide: I think I underestimated just how terrible this theme was.
Latest BTSync works amazingly. It finally syncs automatically (you just have to tick "full sync")

[t]http://i.imgur.com/6FZvhof.png[/t]
It won't use cellular data by default, but you can turn that on if you like.
http://labs.bittorrent.com/experiments/sync.html
You need to download experimental versions for it to work properly, though. Download this version for Windows/Linux (the K53SV in the screenshot is my Ubuntu laptop)
http://syncapp.bittorrent.com/1.1.27/
There is an APK download in 1.1.26 (I'm not sure why there is none at 1.1.27)
http://syncapp.bittorrent.com/1.1.26/
Note: These links will quickly get out of date. These guys update this app fast as fuck.
