Argh the Xperia V uses that really annoying curved back design, they could of easily made it all the same thickness and added a little bit more to the battery at the same time
It's a way to milk money from people who are irritated by that fact. You're forced to get an extended battery and in most cases people will get the official ones just to be safe, which nearly happened in my case with the SGS2, but in the end my case didn't allow the new extended battery so I didn't get one.
Pretty sure Sony don't make extended batteries. They do sell replacement batteries though, but with the same MAh
The design ruins it for me in the first place, so I'm not gonna be milked for any cash :v:
Is it safe to disconnect the device now?

Whoops. Rebooted it accidentally. The answer to the above better be yes.
Android is still very much struggling with incoherence too: the back button's behavior is inconsistent, and Google can't stick to a single design; they went from the tacky TRON looks to the simple dark/blue combo, to the "Google Now" UI in just a couple of years
I think holoyolo and the cards UI are gonna coexist

Not exactly sure if this is the best place to ask, but is there any good media players on the play store that can play .mkv's with little to no problems? I'm still fairly new to Android and everything, so forgive me if I'm being oblivious to something. I've used VPlayer and MX Player and both have given me a handful of problems that make it really unfavorable to watch anything on them.
MX player was probably your best bet. There's also VLC for android but I have no idea if it plays as many things as the desktop version does.
MX player for all your video playback needs.

It was, however, the only app I found that was able to play certain video files I had.

Go in and change the cover. You might have to open the website on a desktop though.
..which reminds me, I need to upload a new cover for In A Reverie, GMusic uses the shitty one
Yeah, if the screen on the new Nexus 7 gets a higher resolution I'm getting it to replace my laptop at university. It has the perfect form factor for being used as a on the go laptop substitute. All I need is a bluetooth keyboard and it's perfect for taking notes or looking up stuff in classes.
I used my Nexus 7 all the time for school. It was amazing for school, I absolutely used it in lieu of a laptop, it was just the right size. However it fell out of my pocket once and broke. I'm totally buying the Nexus 7 2 when it comes out. And I hope it comes out soon.
My friend got an Xperia Z, seems pretty awesome, and the screen really isn't as bad as people make it out to be
But I can't afford anything much, and that said, I'm getting a little tired of Android
If I can get this HTC 8X unlocked I might be able to send it to you for the cost of shipping+20 dollars for the case and screen protector.
My phone is now a video camera video light, I wonder how long it will last. I should also get a proper mount and stop using tape on a rig.
Also I can't find any video camera app that allows me to turn on and off the video light while recording...
I've spent hour finding fastboot drivers for my Xperia V... It's impossible. Everything I've found it either outdated or got a fix a can't replicate.
Help please :c
For Google Music All Access, when you cancel the subscription, every song you added to your library gets deleted. Will it be restored when you re-enable the subscription?

Wait, what? did you mistype something or you'd send me an HTC 8x for super cheap?

Limited to 3 cents an hour, woooow
I'm kind of liking the idea of being able to use a regular pencil on the Xperia Z Ultra, because it doesn't need any specialized pen to be used and you don't have to carry one around, you could just find one lying somewhere or borrow one from someone.
I always wanted to rub pencils all over my phone

That looks pretty cool, but 3 cents per hour? Not worth it.
I was a little worried at first with the packaging on the battery...

hey man, in a little less than 2 days of having advertisements shoved into your face you can afford an entire song
seems like a good deal to me

I have an HTC 8X and a One. I don't actually use the 8X anymore, but it's locked to AT&T and is an AT&T variant. Currently waiting on an unlock code.
