Were getting a trend of apps that are higher in quality which consumes a lot of space. It won't be long before some apps require 5GB of space.
The maximum file size for an app is 50MB for the apk and 2x 2GB for additional files.
Games like dungeon hunter 4 are about 1 Gig already.

Infinity Blade is 1 gig too.

This is with intent. :v:
Team Protocol.
I suppose this includes either a ton of games, or few of the large games (GTA, Real Racing and so on), otherwise how the hell do you fill up ~12GB with apps alone?
"offline" music library, because "the cloud" is still useless until truly unlimited and free mobile is available, and emulators (Playstation game ISO's are 700MB uncompressed)

a music library is not an app
but otherwise I agree.

It confuses me greatly.

Well it's music that's not being streamed, so it still counts in the discussion of why it's retarded some phones are gimped storage wise.
Do you guys think it's possible for me to kill my contract with Verizon if it ends in 3 months without paying an ETF? I have a legitimate complaint about the quality of the service.
Furthermore who should I switch to? Sprint doesn't have 4G in the Denver area, and T-Mo seems like a shitty company overall. I'll be getting the One for what it's worth.

Some carriers will cancel it with no fees if they come to your house and can't get a single bar in any spot.
I can get bars perfectly fine but that's no guarantee of working internet service. I consistently have to switch airplane mode off and on again (and I'm not the only one on Verizon who has to do this, my sister with a HTC Trophy and my buddy with an iPhone both have issues.)
Yea My Note 2 phone storage is only 10gigs but I got a microsd card in there with 30gig of space. It convenient to put all non-apps related stuff in there
My HTC One got here and is activating now!
I recommended my girlfriend to buy the Xperia Z. Then I read some reviews and comparisation tests of One, Z and S4.
oh god why
should've recommended the One. However, she have broken 6 high end phones in under six months due to water. So I suppose it was a good recommendation after all? :v:

6? In under 6 months? I was on the verge of disowning my 14 year old sister after she dropped her S2 into the sea once, what the fuck man?
But if a smartphone has to die it might as well be a sony phone and not a One. One question though; how does it keep happening? Is she a lifeguard or something?

She was out on the beach and put her phone under her chair, bam, water dripped down on it and broke it.
She was out in the forest, tenting with a couple of friends on a rainy day. Bam, phone broken.
She spilled a glass of water on it. Bam, broken.
She thought it was broken due to water, but it was not, but as unclever as she is, she put it in the god damn microwave.
She managed to drop it in the toilet when she was going to sit down. It was in her back pocket and it just flew out when she bent down.
She was on the phone while it was literally a storm outside. The rain killed it.
What phones were broken in the process?
Four god damn Galaxy S2's. One iPhone 4S. And one Galaxy S3.

My title fits my girlfriends situation. :v:
When will people learn that water + phone = a bad time.

I'm not too careful with my S2 but it's survived 2 years with me so I guess I'm doing something right - maybe it's the knowledge that getting a replacement would be incredibly inconvenient and financially crippling - I take it she's insured or something? Otherwise that's like £2000 worth of phones wasted
I had a HTC Legend with around the same amount of storage you have. When I got it, Apps2SD wasn't officially supported so I could only have like 10-20 apps installed before the storage was filled, it fucking sucked. I then got an S1 with 1.85GB free space for apps and oh boy, I could never go back.
My O1 had 200MB for System and user apps, it was awful.
Also, got my replacement Blaze today and OH MY GOD IT FEELS SO NICE.
It was in her back pocket
why
why do people do this
especially girls

Front pocket not big enough to hold the phone with skinny jeans.
S3 or Note 2? $100 difference.
S3 or Note 2? $100 difference.
How huge is your hand
S3 or Note 2? $100 difference.
If you don't like being able to use your phone with one hand then get the note 2.
Why do people on XDA say to clear cache and et cetera three times?
I've only ever had to do each thing once and it's been fine.

Because they're idiots. You don't even need to clear cache most of the time if you're just going between nightlies.
