I've got a TF101 that I've given to my sister for watching her youtube videos and her internets.
For some reason, even though I've done a complete wipe and renew (hold the power button and volume down or whatever to reinstall android) the device STILL remembers my email address, my search history, my browsing history, my passwords, etc.
I'd rather not have this because of reasons. I can't go into the options and remove an account. How does one "remove" an email account from a device?
Did you do a factory reset from inside android as well?
Hm, maybe I should sell my galaxy tab 2 and get the new nexus 7.
Seriously the amount of Android Galaxy devices listed on Samsung's website is ridiculous.
Browsing through the pages:
Axiom, Express, Victory, S, Ace, Exhibit, Amp, Centura, Admire, Reverb, Rush, Stellar, Metrix, Relay, Lightray, Appeal, Exhilarate, Aviator, Blaze, Proclaim, Replenish, Attain, STRATOSPHERE (what), RUGBY PRO (whaaaaaaaaat)
My favorite thing is the pronunciation of S and Ace. "Hello I want the Galaxy S3" and then the guy gives you the Ace 3.

Giffgaff had a spreadsheet of all the phones that had connected to their network, and there were at least 100 different variations of the galaxy series. It's ridiculous.
I'm going to await the Samsung Galaxy Universe S26
Facebook app, why the fuck do you keep showing me the Top Stories when I have it set to Most Recent. Fucking hell.
sooooo... I went back to stock on my Nexus 4. Since I never stayed on stock longer than an hour, I'm interested to see if I'll actually be ok with it for several days, maybe weeks.

Ugh, this is noticeably smoother than CyanogenMod.

Who the fuck designed the Top Stories bit anyway
They should be fired.
Anyone else noticed the Action Bar (lord Duarte please forgive me for calling this heresy an action bar) recently got rounded top corners and lost the separator lines between buttons? Looks like it came out of iOS or something now.
I'm on the FB beta app btw (yeah I know what you want to say to that).

What phone is that?
What phone is that?
LG Optimus G Pro
It's the best phone you can possibly get if a $200 flagship is out of your range, although IMO it blows the flagships out of the water
is it worth selling my iPad for $280 and buying the Galaxy Note 10.1 for $280
I don't use my iPad so much anymore after getting my phone
e: I should mention I have legitimate use for the s-pen considering I have the Note 2
If you don't use your iPad, I don't see the point?
I do, but mostly in school, and the size (it's the mini) is kind of nullified by getting a 5.5" phone.
Resolution and PPI is the one thing everyone goes on about that I don't care about, so even if the Note 10.1 is only 1280x800, it doesn't bother me a bit

I guess my reasoning is that the iPad was a good idea at one point in time, but now that I don't have an iphone anymore, it doesn't synergize with anything else that I own and has even been partially replaced.

I still love my galaxy note 10.1. The next tablet I'll get MUST have pen input. I use it a lot.

Until you find out you'll get one update with Jellybean 4.1.2 and you'll never hear about updates again until two years later you hear rumours about three revisions of Android ago finally coming to your device.
LG and updates don't go well together. The Optimus G doesn't really blow the other flagships out of the water.
Well, if you are confident that you need that tablet and think that it's worth it/you don't need the money for anything else right now you should go for it.
yeah I use the pen on my phone an awful lot, it's really great. Plus multitasking is something Samsung does well, plus 90% of TouchWiz problems go away when you use custom launcher.
And since you use that Pen stuff there is really no alternative, is there?

Fuck my merge.
Just get a stylus for your iPad?
The tablet apps you'll find on iPad are a hell of a lot better than a majority of Android ones.

The only thing I have on my iPad are games and the Facebook app, both of which are passable on Android. And capacitive styluses are dog shit. I'm not really an app user.
What do you actually DO with your tablet that can't be done just as well with a phone?
I want something deployable for class use. Phone's too small to do anything with.

Yes I noticed that as well. Also more whitespace in between posts (also on beta channel).

Grab something like this then, makes it much more productive.

I actually have a keyboard for that purpose, but I never ended up using it. I'm not an efficient typist.

I guess it looks like I've made up my mind, then. I don't seem open to other ideas.
I've discovered a problem with this case, the slot at the bottom to charge from is too small. I can fit my USB charger in there fine, but my micro USB to USB keeps falling out. Looks like ill have to take the case off to be able to flash any new roms.

Remove the google account in settings>accounts, and to be on the safe side do a factory reset in settings> Back up & Reset (under personal)

I actively typed notes on my phone using Evernote.
I can confirm that it's a pain in the ass.
