isnt that just the protection earth or grounding or whatever its called in english...? if so, you wont even need that
Considering that prong is just plastic, it's just to force the socket open. It's a metal prong with devices that require grounding, unlike a charger for a tablet.
Considering that prong is just plastic, it's just to force the socket open. It's a metal prong with devices that require grounding, unlike a charger for a tablet.
oh, it doesnt open at all without it? aight, wacky stuff you got in england
Hey guys I have a S3 and maybe it is infected but I can't do a scan with NOD32. What can I do for verify my device?
Any recommendations for rpg games, something long winded that I can pick up when sitting on the bus / train etc etc.
9th Dawn, it's an amazing little game if you like classic RPGs from the 90s and Ravensword: Shadowlands, it's got a stupid name but it's actually a pretty nice RPG in the style of modern RPGs, requires a decent device to run though
Maybe my phone troubles arent over yet, now it battery drains on the charger and drains in 1.5 hours of non-use from 64%
Better Battery Stats time. If you still have something after that then Google dun' goofed. [editline]31st July 2013[/editline] Also I'm absolutely loving how someone is trying to defend blatant benchmark cheating on /r/android. Seriously, they tried to justify it and tried to claim that it was sensationalist when Anandtech is incredibly restrained and understated.
Yay, finally an stable Cyanogenmod for my Galaxy Y. And it ran something thats not Fruit Ninja! Got it to run Re-Volt, too bad it took the entire phone space for no reason, even after i moved it to the SD. Well, gonna try more stuff, today is a good day!
GOT MY ZEROLEMON A++++++ My phone feels like a fucking tank now, which is awesome.
Anyone know what I can do to download INSANE amounts of data on my phone (bonus if it actually benefits me somehow)? I have unlimited data and I want to see how "unlimited" it really is. That and the fact I feel like sticking it to my service provider because they suck massive schlong with service in my area.
Mobile torrent client + linux distros

All of it.
I suppose the new Nexus 7 still doesn't have the hardware needed to make GSM phone calls? [editline]31st July 2013[/editline] As much as I like my first-gen Nexus 7 it's not much use for me when I have a GS3 fit for all my needs (huge battery, 64gb SD card etc). The only thing that would make it better if it was a phablet. For a tablet I'd rather get a W8 hybrid

So, Razr Maxx lock button failed. Now I have to carry my (far too big) external battery with me to plug into the micro USB and turn the screen on. Biding my time for the Moto X. Luckily, i just got a Pebble today (rate me winner :P), so I can decide what notifications are important enough to warrant the trouble.

The One doesn't have the screen turn on if plugged in, presumably because at night that would make me go blind.

Couldn't tell you if there is a rhyme or reason to it.
My Nexus 7 doesn't, but my Galaxy Nexus does. Both running Paranoid Android. Couldn't tell you if there is a rhyme or reason to it.
Probably device-specific.
Is this the eMMC sudden death bug? If so, I would be pretty fucking pissed because it's Samsung's fault for using shitty eMMC. [editline]30th July 2013[/editline] Flash the latest stock image using Odin.
It sounds like it, I ran the eMMC Check application and it said I have the "Insane" version of the chip, though the scan didn't bring anything up. Someone suggested trying an app that fills up the space on the phone with garbage data in an attempt to trigger the bug, though nothing happened. If it turns out to be the eMMC sudden death bug and samsung refuses to cover it under warranty, I will call them up and explain my point of view. If that doesn't work, I will call again. Maybe bitch about it on their FB page or something...

hey so figured out you can just upload a single song from an artist to get their banner on the google music app good thing to know
Because the only Pebble on the shelf at Best Buy was a red one and I originally wanted black, I just ordered these from Amazon: [thumb]http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/61kw2Mq4dEL._SL1000_.jpg[/thumb] [thumb]http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/61GPAfKHeaL._SL1024_.jpg[/thumb]
has anyone got riptide gp2??????
Yeah, fun game, addicting. Have to crank all the settings WAY down on my S3 though. It's either demanding, or poorly optimized, or both. I've played other games that look better and run smoother on this phone, for sure.

It only drained 4% over 4 hours of light usage at work.
There will be an LTE one so you could make voip calls, but of course that requires LTE service
I'll probably go with one of the samsung galaxy notes whenever my GS3 dies
I went ahead and bit the bullet and bought the fuill version for 3 dollars. It's not perfect video quality as you can see but it usually runs at full frames, saves for the occasional hiccup. I had to lower video and sound quality to reduce the latency, but other than that it's virtually unnoticeable. You could probably play through an entire game like this. I'll give it a shot if I can get my PS3 controller working with it. [editline]31st July 2013[/editline] I've noticed that when this app is running, the audio pops and crackles out the speaker. I have no idea if the app is causing this or if this is a problem with my Nexus 7. [editline]31st July 2013[/editline] It happens with headphones too so it's not faulty speakers and it's only in that app. [editline]31st July 2013[/editline] It also happens on my S4. I was worried my tablet was defective. It's just a shitty app. :v:
Try Splashtop, it's free for personal use (I haven't found any restrictions so far) and it doesnt crash as much as Kainy (I haven't had Splashtop crash yet)
I'll probably go with one of the samsung galaxy notes whenever my GS3 dies
On top of being huge the stylus is cool as hell. I wonder what Sarnsung has in store for the Note 3.
oh, it doesnt open at all without it? aight, wacky stuff you got in england
It's a safety thing, so kids can't jam knives and stuff in there.
