I genuinely hate swipe tying and don't understand it when people tell me it's faster I've got swiftkey though, seems to learn pretty well for me. Could be intentionally avoiding curses
I use a mix of swipe typing and regular typing, because swipe typing can be a pretty big pain in the ass sometimes. E: getting a new tablet pretty soon, was thinking about a gen 2 nexus, or a gen 1 because it's cheaper. or a memopad 7 hd WHAT GET
I liked the old HTC keyboards because they could be calibrated and I am a touch keyboard fat fingerer.
This still can be.
This still can be.
Do tell.
I think swipe keyboards are great for one handed use. Also anyone else notice Google keyboard has an obsession with "the intended recipient". Funny getting suggestive keyboards in loops. A few days of the intended recipient you are you are you are are you are you are you are you are
Do tell.
Settings>Language & Keyboard>HTC Sense Input>Advanced>Calibration tool That's how I get to it on my HTC One.
I am trying to root this tablet for my lil sister, i already installed the ADB Drivers but when i type "adb devices" it doesn't show up but PDANet recognizes it Model:MFC190BBFR running Android 4.0.3 Can anyone help me? [t]http://maxsblog.de/IMG_0634.JPG[/t]
You need to check if the spectrum your service provider uses is one of the supported bands on the Nexus 7 (2013).
It only says bands on 2G and 3G, 4G is only LTE (Unless that is the band lol)
Settings>Language & Keyboard>HTC Sense Input>Advanced>Calibration tool That's how I get to it on my HTC One.
Doesn't help me on my Galaxy Note 2.
[T]http://images.anandtech.com/doci/7176/Nexus7-9538.jpg[/t] Left is generation 2. Right is generation 1.
Why did they make it taller instead of wider?
Doesn't help me on my Galaxy Note 2.
Thought you had a htc phone and was saying that only old htc keyboards can be calibrated.
Why did they make it taller instead of wider?
Frankly, I don't think it should be any wider than it is now. I know that the bezels are larger on the top and bottom, however, to make it easier to hold in landscape. It might also allow for things like a slightly larger battery or to include better quality speakers.
Thought you had a htc phone and was saying that only old htc keyboards can be calibrated.
I do have an old HTC phone, and was more wondering why nobody else bothers to make a keyboard that can be calibrated.
I genuinely hate swipe tying and don't understand it when people tell me it's faster I've got swiftkey though, seems to learn pretty well for me. Could be intentionally avoiding curses
SwiftKey Flow fails for me most of the time so I just stopped using it.
The only word SwiftKey just refuses to get right is 'already'. It doesn't even show up in the alternative word list, fucking annoying.
my bionic (forgot what keyboard I used) would prefer to autocorrect missed attempts at the word "the" to "Tue" instead
Typing in "fuck" on swiftkey for me has the option to correct to "fucking ingredients" Apparently once I got pissed off cooking
when you put it in adb mode, look for a device that has an exclamation mark in device manager, install the adb drivers on that device and it should work
i did do that but it wont recognize it
i hate swiftkey's auto correct especially with filenames. picture.png? how about Picture. Ping
Doesn't help me on my Galaxy Note 2.
That's not surprising, it's just a part of the HTC keyboard tools.
I started using Fleksy beta for my keyboard and it's pretty fun. I guess the major draw is that you can fix an autocorrected word even if you typed it ages ago. If you tap on the incorrect word, it remembers the suggestions. Also, it looks really slick. [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/KHGHkoQ.png[/img_thumb]

[img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/KHGHkoQ.png[/img_thumb]
I tried to like Fleksy, but I gave up after a week or so when I accepted that I just couldn't type very fast with it. Also, check the Fleksy settings, they're doing a silly game thing where if you type the sentence fast enough you could win a Nexus 7. (doesn't say 2012 or 2013)

I don't want to join their secret club.
my bionic (forgot what keyboard I used) would prefer to autocorrect missed attempts at the word "the" to "Tue" instead
Swype does that to me too.
I guess I broke it. [thumb]http://i.cubeupload.com/Saf7N6.png[/thumb] Anyone sells a galaxy s plus camera cover?
Oh my freaking yes. CM 10.2 just got a patch that makes USB audio actually work on Qualcomm devices!! EDIT: I'm getting a bunch of clicking/popping on my USB headset. Don't know whether it's a software issue or my crappy $2 USB-OTG cable.
i did do that but it wont recognize it
You are using the ADB drivers right? I've had Windows decide to use the MTP drivers for the ADB interface. Windows will say its working correctly, but it makes ADB do some really weird shit.
I guess I broke it. [thumb]http://i.cubeupload.com/Saf7N6.png[/thumb] Anyone sells a galaxy s plus camera cover?
My SGS camera is slowly starting to look like that. Everything on the phone is bulletproof except for that exposed piece of plastic
