Oh man I just downloaded Fleksy and where has this been my whole life.
Holy shit fleksy is awesome.
Its some of the most impressive autocorrect I have ever seen on top of being a genuinely easy to type on keyboard
Its some of the most impressive autocorrect I have ever seen on top of being a genuinely easy to type on keyboard
How much RAM does it use? SwiftKey is an absolute pig. The LMK always kills it for being such a RAM whore
Woah, Greenify is just awesome. I was able to remove all my random wakelocks with it and my battery life is fucking superb!

Choosing a new phone. htc one or htc butterfly s? One looks better but butterfly has better battery.. however One is like $300 cheaper [editline]17th August 2013[/editline] Wait what? Why 4MP cameras? Maybe I'm not getting something but isn't that kinda crap?
Megapixel count isn't the only factor to keep in mind when looking at camera specs. The HTC One might not be as good as the S4 in daylight pictures but when it comes to low-light situations the One has an unmatched camera. The One is a much better all-around performer, especially for those who are more social and enjoy taking pictures of the night-life. Keep in mind that the best camera is the one you have on you.
Camera quality isn't a concern for me really, I only want it to be better and capture faster than my evo 3d. Is it?
Probably.
Camera quality isn't a concern for me really, I only want it to be better and capture faster than my evo 3d. Is it?
Of course it is. You'll be the third person I know who went from a 3D phone to the HTC One.
Of course it is. You'll be the third person I know who went from a 3D phone to the HTC One.
Nice. Aight, HTC One then. [editline]17th August 2013[/editline] Oh also: how's the internal storage quality? My evo 3d has a fake 32gb microSD, bought it for dirt cheap (works flawlessly lol), I don't store anything important on there so if it breaks I'll just buy another one. But I won't be able to replace internal storage (for cheap).
My SGS camera is slowly starting to look like that. Everything on the phone is bulletproof except for that exposed piece of plastic
Mine is s plus, and well, the phone cam from someone who tends to let phones fall accidentally (tell that to his iphone)
the one uses standard eMMC memory, it should be fine.

fffff I want the wireless charging orb. But on Amazon or eBay they're all $80 :/ It's probably the only actual useful wireless charger that's being sold, because it's not a flat plate.
fffff I want the wireless charging orb. It's really nice to be able to just grab your phone off the pad and its charged up
You are using the ADB drivers right? I've had Windows decide to use the MTP drivers for the ADB interface. Windows will say its working correctly, but it makes ADB do some really weird shit.
[t]http://maxsblog.de/23gN.png[/t] yes i am
I have a flat plate wireless charger, they're definitely not useless. It's really nice to be able to just grab your phone off the pad and its charged up
What I meant was that unless your phone is directly in front of you on your table, it's hard to interact with your phone on a flat plate charger. The Wireless Orb works much like a dock, you can have it somewhere on the end of your table or something and still see and interact with the phone fine, because it's not laying on its back.
The HTC One has no expandable memory. You're stuck with what they give you. You won't be able to use your old 32gb microSD.
Uh yeah I know? That's why I'm asking, will the internal storage last long
AFAIK there are no known problems with internal storage degradation on the HTC One. ASUS tablets have often suffered from this (Transformers and the Nexus 7 2012).
How much RAM does it use? SwiftKey is an absolute pig. The LMK always kills it for being such a RAM whore
It used to be a fuckin' hog but recent updates have seriously lightened the load.
Uh yeah I know? That's why I'm asking, will the internal storage last long
Oh, your post was worded very strangely and it threw me off. It will be fine. [editline]17th August 2013[/editline] I don't think I've ever had a flash memory device straight up fail on me.
AFAIK there are no known problems with internal storage degradation on the HTC One. ASUS tablets have often suffered from this (Transformers and the Nexus 7 2012).
As in hardware degradation or just the file system?
[t]http://maxsblog.de/23gN.png[/t] yes i am
The name of the device means fuck all. It may still be using the wrong drivers, because that's the exact result of "adb devices" when Windows was using the wrong drivers for me. To be double sure, double click on the ADB interface, "Update Driver", "Browse my computer...", "Let me pick", and make sure its the ADB driver selected.
AFAIK there are no known problems with internal storage degradation on the HTC One. I don't think HTC actually implemented garbage collection. [editline]17th August 2013[/editline]
Uh yeah I know? That's why I'm asking, will the internal storage last long
Performance is great. Either HTC doesn't or does have TRIM running in the background, never really found out for stock ROMs. 4.3 will fix that problem.
AFAIK there are no known problems with internal storage degradation on the HTC One. ASUS tablets have often suffered from this (Transformers and the Nexus 7 2012).
which was because android didn't have TRIM which it has now and my N7^1 is fantastically smooth
which was because android didn't have TRIM which it has now and my N7^1 is fantastically smooth
Thank the lord for Android 4.3!
Hell i'm leaning more towards the nexus 7 2012 because it's cheaper and android 4.3 + TRIM.
Hell i'm leaning more towards the nexus 7 2012 because it's cheaper and android 4.3 + TRIM.
It's still a very fine tablet. I would recommend the update for the screen alone though, which makes reading and watching video a genuine pleasure. [editline]17th August 2013[/editline] That said, I was able to read entire books without any problems on my 2012 version.
