Optus works great where I live, full bars when I'm home and full bars when I'm in the city, however at school for some reason is where Optus gets a bit sluggish but honestly for what I do it's fine Telstra works just about everywhere
I have an HTC one and it lets me just open up the phone memory and drop files in from my PC, so I'm not sure what you're going on about.
you mean it isn't like this?
Does anyone know a good Bluetooth game controller that would attach to a Samsung Galaxy S3? and also works with alot of games?
I've been using the MOGA pro on my S4, works great. There's a seperate universal driver thing that allows it to be mapped as keys instead of working through its proprietary software, though you won't have trigger functionality or right thumbstick motion through that. set up identical to a 360 controller [t]http://blog.laptopmag.com/wpress/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/MOGA-PRO-Controller.jpg[/t] [t]http://www5.pcmag.com/media/images/383631-moga-pro-controller.jpg?thumb=y[/t]

http://www.htc.com/www/software/htc-sync-manager/ [editline]21st August 2013[/editline] You don't need to use the program itself, just have it installed which enables you to access the phone like regular storage devices.
this got announced just recently and I'm super intrigued I'm really antsy and want to know how well android apps will handle the pen. I know it's a full cintiq display and will do fine when connected as an extended monitor but I really want to see some hands-on play and tablet features aside, does a 13.3" android tablet sound appetizing or cumbersome?
Has a sony tablet, uses htc software. What
so? what's your point?
Has a sony tablet, uses htc software. What
He has been talking about his phone up till now, I would presume he's still referring to his phone in his screenshot. Why his computer is recognising it as a Sony tablet is beyond me though.
It's a great service because i like how it combines my library with local files with it but jesus $10AUD a month is balls and there's no 3 month giftcards as far as I know to purchase it, stick with spotify
It's pretty nice but yeah I'm gonna cancel it because no moneys and no gift cards in Canada yet either, or Spotify.
oh boy oh boy oh boy I've been invited to the data savings thing in Chrome stable. I've been waiting for that FOREVER! HELL YES.
oh boy oh boy oh boy I've been invited to the data savings thing in Chrome stable. I've been waiting for that FOREVER! HELL YES.
I was invited when I first installed and opened chrome.
oh boy oh boy oh boy I've been invited to the data savings thing in Chrome stable. I've been waiting for that FOREVER! HELL YES.
data savings what?
data savings what?
Chrome - Settings - Bandwith management - Reduce data usage. It's compressing stuff (mostly images I suppose) to save data and improve speed/performance while loading pages. Mostly useful for mobile data. http://googlesystem.blogspot.com/2013/04/reduce-data-usage-in-chrome-for-android.html
oh man I need that, when I camp out at the library and the wifi is shit, I blow through 500mb of my data when I tether my laptop. good thing I only do that once a month, though
Just dropped my SGSI tankpotato and the front glass broke. Touch still works but I can't see shit. Of course this had to happen on my birthday. :(
So i Just Flashed CM10.2 Accidentally by Updating and i dont Like it the WLAN Bar is always Grey even though it works :< And i just Dont like It in its current state how could i flash back to 10.1?
And just when I get the bandwidth saving feature, they update Chrome to 29, which for some fucking reason decides to ignore ad blocking in the hosts file. Ads will blow through 4x more data than the bandwidth saver can actually save. Fuck this shit.
Get any 10.1 nightly and just flash it, you might need to wipe data but I'm not certain
Tried it Got Stuck on Bootloop got the Nightly from the 08/11
I hate Chrome so much. It uses just way too much battery on even a Nexus 4. I started using Chrome Beta after not using Chrome for a month or so and immediately my phone was getting hotter and running out of battery sooner. Been using a combination of Dolphin and Firefox on my phone.
Tried it Got Stuck on Bootloop got the Nightly from the 08/11
I think that's about the same time i got stuck after a nightly update as well. I ended up doing a factory reset to a M snapshot. Wiped OS and settings, but my stuff is still there, and several apps i had saved configs and such to the SD card

While it does leave all media and stuff on the phone internal storage and don't touch the SD card, i did loose all my apps and all their data (spotify offline music, CPUtuner settings, Pixel Dungeon progress and so on) I'v never used WhatsApp so i don't know how it saves it's stuff. As for how i did it, right now i don't remember exactly, i'm pretty sure i did a factory reset, and i vaguely remember downloading a .zip file of the CM version to my sd card and installing it from there from within clockworkmod Clockworkmod FAQ Again, i don't remember exactly what i did, so i'd google around a bit (and maybe someone else here got a better idea of how to do it)
Is chrome really that bad? I tried FF but the font rendering looked shit.

Update your gapps package to an android 4.3 version and your WiFi icon will function correctly again. Don't ask me why gapps affects the WiFi icon, it just does.
He has been talking about his phone up till now, I would presume he's still referring to his phone in his screenshot. Why his computer is recognising it as a Sony tablet is beyond me though.
might be Google Images

Also, I love the people that fervently defend the need of microSD and removable batteries. The first one is already close to disappearing, Google is actively killing it with Android 4.3. The second is well on its way out with the Moto X/LG G2.

So, I've got a friend who's gonna be spending a semester in France and breaks with her family in the Netherlands. She was thinking about getting AT&T's overseas service, but a semester of that is gonna cost a fortune. She has the unlocked N4, so I suggested that she get a prepaid SIM for europe. What's a good vendor with high data caps and good service I could suggest? Remember, it has to be international.
