I"m not saying it's easy, I'm just surprised they didn't include the information.

I can't find them, but it would be ridiculous to not have them.

My question is why not just make a better camera built into the phone? I sure as hell wouldn't lug one of these stupid things around, but I would totally daily-carry a phone like the Lumia 1020, the camera hump is honestly not a big deal with that phone.

You're getting larger optics, optical zoom of some amount, larger sensor (?).

Yes, but the practicality needs to be questioned. If it can't fit comfortably in a normal jeans pocket, I can't use it daily.
Hello my name is Falco, it's 3 am and I just figured out that muting a TouchWiz tablet does NOT mute the notification sound.
Oh no
There are four volumes
Media
Ringtone
Notifications
System
Muting = muting ringtone
Unless this is the custom Rom I have?
[editline]1st September 2013[/editline]
Also, my tablet doesn't have 3G, so the ringtone volume is useless. But that's definitely the Rom.
So, I've been having a problem with a number of unrelated apps, in which they wouldn't process my login credentials when I was on mobile data (WiFi worked fine). I finally traced it down to my APN settings: it turns out the proxy was to blame. I deleted the proxy and everything now works fine. Is there any downside to not using the provider's proxy?
Once in a while when I'm watching a video on YouTube the video won't respond. And when I press the home button, the video integrates into the wallpaper.
what

If I spin my phone fast enough, the status bar duplicates and then crashes.
[sp]Also, why don't they make Flip Phones anymore? Those where the shit. They could just slap a transparent cover to check your notifications/the time and call it a day[/sp]

Samsung Galaxy Golden
That makes sense. And I can't find anything about the indicators anywhere...

Not even ifixit.
Ah well. I picked up the phone earlier today and threw on a GPe ROM. So far so good. There aren't any issues with the camera, calling works, speakers work, LTE works, and there's only a tiny ding on the bottom right corner. All in all a good deal.

Check dead pixels. Make sure you don't have noise when you try to take all black photos. Make sure you don't have out of spec back cover/speaker panel alignment.

All of those pass except for this slight gap between the top pieces. It doesn't bother me too much since it's a very slight one.

It will only be an issue if it's big and uneven.
Going to take this with an extreme amount of salt, but if it turns out to be true OH GOD!

Yeah the nature/pebble thing is getting old.
I bet it'll still look like curvy shit
The S4 active is the best looking modern phone IMO, shame it has so many tradeoffs for the tiny extras

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that in case you had something like Skype installed, it would use the ringtone volume setting in case you get a call.

That's hilarious, when Samsung didn't have have Tx diversity on the Galaxy S4.
Samsung does immense amounts of cost cutting because of their scale. If you really think they're going to spend the money on Alu unibodies when HTC is demonstrably not toppling Samsung, you live in a world that I don't.

Which is why I'm taking the rumour with an extreme amount of salt. Samsung used plastic to cut down on costs to begin with and a transition like this would not only increase the cost of production, but disrupt the manufacturing process they've already established and refined with the S3 and S4.

I deleted my proxy settings because my provider was apparently sharing a proxy with another provider in England, and using an English server as the proxy. Connection is now so much better and never had any issues.

now hide the pattern background.
then proceed to throw the phone into a lake since you have no idea how to unlock it anymore.
i hate how typing the wrong password too many times locks the fucking phone
it does make sense if i'm storing veeeery sensitive info and all, but if you just don't want somebody wasting your battery when you ask them to hold your phone it gets annoying
plus some people are assholes and try to lock your phone up on purpose
