Nexus 4 still hasn't left Singapore according to Google, im too keen [editline]3rd September 2013[/editline] As soon as I posted that, got an email from Google with a FedEx tracking number
2013 Nexus7 is everywhere in Australia, everywhere except Google Play Store......
So I got a screen protector today. Oh, hello giant fucking hair strands on my screen, how are you today?
oh man the happening is happening!!! "After Google gave its Nexus 4 a $100 price cut last week, the 8GB version of the phone is now sold out on the Play store. It appears that the price reduction was more of a clearance sale, however, as Google tells The Verge that the cheaper model will not be restocked."
Except I doubt it's that cheap in Spain. If there's no Play Store, the price is likely $400 and higher.
The only carrier I have seen that sells Nexus 4's does for like 500$. And I had no idea Play Store sold phones. or something that wasn't apps

Almost guaranteed to not have dust/hair underneath. [editline]2nd September 2013[/editline]
I got that case a couple of months back. Haven't noticed any change in signal.
If it's actually made of metal, you just put your phone in a faraday cage.
Holy fuck, Microsoft just bought Nokia... http://mobile.theverge.com/2013/9/2/4688530/microsoft-buys-nokias-devices-and-services-unit-unites-windows-phone
The back has to be made of RF transparent plastic to not attenuate the fuck out of signal. Even then, an aluminum bumper is not good for reception, it makes the phone less isotropic in receive/transmit.
Not that this is surprising to anybody at all.
What do you mean? I'm reeling. I'm totally blindsided by this. [sp]Seriously, this isn't sarcasm, I'm shocked.[/sp] [editline]2nd September 2013[/editline]
Holy fuck, Microsoft just bought Nokia... honestly it was all leading up to this nokia is more dedicated to windows phone than microsoft
honestly it was all leading up to this nokia is more dedicated to windows phone than microsoft
The fact that Nokia did not go Android when they are clearly held back by Microsoft's retardation is proof enough. Seriously, could you imagine Samsung in the context of a Nokia EOS camera and design with LG G2 levels of spec?

Oh God yes, 32 GB N4 would be heaven
Have fun dealing with a crippling lack of signal.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/n0RLSUq.jpg[/t] signal is great as always thank you very much.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/n0RLSUq.jpg[/t] signal is great as always thank you very much.
Put on the case, check dBm, take it off, check again. You will probably see a 10 dBM difference, which is simply enormous.
Put on the case, check dBm, take it off, check again. You will probably see a 10 dBM difference, which is simply enormous.
Will check when I get home. So far the signal is just as great as before but I'll try when I get home and have a screwdriver
After Elop successfully ran Nokia into the ground, Microsoft harvested it for pocket change. Pretty genius if you ask me. I mean come on, they paid more for Skype!
After Elop successfully ran Nokia into the ground, Microsoft harvested it for pocket change. Pretty genius if you ask me. I mean come on, they paid more for Skype!
Nokia's doing ok imo iPhone fucked shut up real bad
I feel like Nokia could've been doing so much better if their main focus wasn't on Windows Phone.
All i've used my S3 for the last 3 months for is for about 2 minutes of texting a day. Wot.
I feel like Nokia could've been doing so much better if their main focus wasn't on Windows Phone.
I think their deal with Microsoft was a bit short sighted but maybe they were desperate at the time?
Is anybody else using a GPe ROM on their One? I'm getting an issue where every 30 minutes or so, I just lose signal. It'll abruptly disconnect (the SIM is still detected) but reconnect in under a minute or so. The red parts are where I lose signal. It's pretty consistent.
is it a bug in 4.3 that Android System has the highest battery drain?
I'm sure if you hardly use the phone the system will be the biggest drain since nothing else is.
I'm sure if you hardly use the phone the system will be the biggest drain since nothing else is.
Thing is, I haven't ever seen the screen not at the top of the list. This is with 1h 33m screen-on time (wifi):
The only time I've seen Android System go crazy with the battery was an issue with Chrome's Tilt Scrolling, disabling that fixed it. But I don't know, that looks fine to me
THIS FORUM HAS ITS OWN TAPATALK APP CLICK OK TO DOWNLOAD
I think it works fine SENT FROM MY SCH-I505 VIA TAPATALK MOBILE FOR FACEPUNCH
