Yep, Motos are not popular in here. But there are quite a lot HTC's and Sammys. I prefer HTC's, because I love Sense. And about One... well, I am thinking about One mini
Might be hard to find a one mini in your price range, but possible, I suppose. If the market for used devices really is that good, then the prices could be deflated.
Well... maybe there are any interesting Xperia aside Z?
Pretty much every recent Sony smartphone has been underwhelming. They have cool feature X but then the phones are razor thin with a minute of standby battery life or some other ridiculous compromise.
Well that blog has made me strongly consider putting CM on my phone. HTC One people (or CM people in general): should I stick with 10.1 for now or is there a very solid (I mean perfect for daily driver) build of 10.2?
I have CM10.1 running on my Evo 3D and it's actually really great. I'd recommend it. 10.2 still seems like it's in the "expect bugs " stage, whereas 10.1 is stable. P.S. rooting, unlocking and s-offing those 3vos is MISERABLE [editline]18th September 2013[/editline] Of course I say that and I'm running AOSPA 3.99 on my Note 2, which is 4.3. Although it is buggy, it's stable.
10.2 has been fine for me except for the three days when buildbot broke then the next day they broke mounting the internal SD card
DSP Manager does fuck all on my Note 2 and it's random rebooted on me once (in a span of two weeks. I think it was caused by an app gone haywire anyway) It wouldn't be bad but I think you'd have a lot more growing pains than 10.1.
looks like the Htc one max wont be getting a snapdragon 800
Source?
CM 10.1.3 RC2 locks up then reboots randomly. AOSP keyboard likes to encourage this behavior somehow. (Switching keyboards drastically helped) Still better than stock Samsung roms. Even the most up to date were unresponsive as hell.
Pulling out your Android phone in a crowd of people downloading iOS 7 ~littlexdathings~

I'm looking to buy a cheap ARM device to run XBMC on and I was wondering if any one has used these products before, and which is the best bang for the buck?
You could try the Raspberry Pi but pretty much anything with the A10 or higher chip should do the job just fine
I have the first gen Pi running OpenELEC. It's having a rough time handling it, sadly. I was hoping to find something that I could use for running YouTube, Netflix, etc. I was looking into either an ODROID-XU or an Android based [embedded?] system.
Guys, my phone won't update to iOS 7. What's wrong? [t]http://puu.sh/4uO1U[/t]
Dude... Everyone brought chargers to school today just so they could download webOS 7...
omg windows 7 is out after 3000 years of waiting
HTC One is the go-to phone. I'm sure you could pick it up refurb'd for that price if not new. If not, there are some nice LG Phones out there. Check out the LG G2, which is apparently what the Nexus 5 is based on. According to LaptopMag, it has one of the best battery lifes out of all smart phones. I have the UG802 and it works great with a custom ROM, but it doesn't have Bluetooth. It does support both ARM Linux and Android. The UG007 has better specs and Bluetooth, but I can't personally speak for the quality of it. However, it does have decent reviews on Amazon.

It isn't helped by the way XBMC redraws it's interface (full screen refreshes at 60fps, even if it's displaying static content)
Anyone in Canada seen any Kitkats with the google promotion yet cause I haven't
omg windows 7 is out after 3000 years of waiting
i cant believe blackberry 98SE is finally out

I can attest to the quality of the UG802. Other than not having Bluetooth, it's a great little device with plenty of power. However, it is much better with a custom ROM. The UG007 has Bluetooth, but I can't personally speak for its quality. For only six to ten bucks more, I'd take the risk. Specs - 1.2Ghz Dual Core, overclockable to 1.6Ghz 1GB RAM Mali 400 GPU (Same as the Note 2, decent enough) 8GB Storage Micro SD slot, Full sized USB 2.0, Micro USB, HDMI 720p Output, 1080p with custom ROM.
After the news of them incorporating, they claim to be working with an OEM (Oppo? HTC?). They're basically just a skinned AOSP, with an OEM they could get certification and Gapps. Additionally, they're working on a "Cyanogenmod Installer".
