Is there a way to change Status bar icons? Even tho I like the blue tint in Cyanogenmod, it simply does not fit with my homescreen set up.
4.4 status bar icons may be white
I just hope there's a way to customize them by default, I want my #33b5e5.

You really love your #33b5e5
There are bunch of Holo-color themes on the play store and they are really great
Sadly, most of them change too much. I wouldn't mind making my own pack just for a white status bar.
[sp]I even did that when I had an iPhone back then[/sp]

Well, there are a few must haves for 4.2 plus, but at 4.1i would just make sure you have the primary gapps and what not. I would (and do) go to the play store and look at all of the apps Google has on there. Things like drive, quickoffice, authenticator for 2 step verification, etc. What phone do you have?
wow neat

If you look at the top left next to the keyboard icon, that looks like a pie, key lime pie? That could be the debugging icon. They either haven't changed it, or it is actually still Key Lime Pie but they're all fucking with us.

It's Galaxy S II Plus.
So my Nexus 4 finally came.
Guess i can join the holo club now.
Tested it with Asphalt 8, loved it!
Would a Nexus 7 (in a case) be safe kicking around in a backpack all day alongside textbooks/notepads/other random junk? I can get a pretty good deal on one, but all the horror stories about cracked screens are making me nervous...
(Also hi everyone, first time posting, normally I just lurk in the TF2 MUS thread.)

Of you don't like the Touchwiz launcher, you might try downloading Nova launcher. But thats more of a cosmetic thing. It'll just make your device feel more like regular android.

What are some good Google Calendar widgets that would fit the theme? Preferably in daily/weekly planner format.
Is there an app that will allow me to swipe down from the top of the screen when full screen like in the Samsung devices?

You could try this:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.underwood.agenda
It's based on open source code from Roman Nurik, the DashClock dev from Google.
Original post from Roman Nurik with code: https://plus.google.com/113735310430199015092/posts/byKoTdvbJFZ
apk from that code alone: http://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/1lcl6d/roman_nurik_dashclock_dev_wrote_the_best_minimal/cbxw6vi
Having trouble with installing apps via APKs, trying to install Minecraft but it gives me the Parse Error, I think it appeared since I updated my phone (small Gingerbread update, I know, Gingerbread), it worked before perfectly. Any fix?

If you can make it look awesome, share the APK.
[sp]insert legal stuff about how you're violating the terms of use which you agreed on. you're not supposed to modify the app in any way, blah blah blah /buzzkill [/sp]

Well, looking at your spoiler, I guess this would be the perfect time to say #HoloYolo
What are some good anti-theft apps on the market?
Just got my first Android phone, any must have apps and just general tips?
Uhh. If you root it, then Titanium Backup. Oh and Dolphin or Google Chrome.
What are some good anti-theft apps on the market?
Cerberus comes to mind, but you're only able to utilise its full potential if you're rooted.

I use Cerberus.

Avast is really cool in that you can download a custom named antitheft .apk. I always make mine something super inconspicuous like Alarm Clock Pro. Of course, the app also has root fetures to hide itself like Ceberus, too.

That is, if https://www.google.com/android/devicemanager isn't enough for you already. Since it's already there...

I wish this could lock the device and take photos.

I wish it could survive a factory reset or a SIM card change.

I think it should survive SIM changes, factory definitely no
