So ever since 4.1.2 my GT-N7000's been feeling slow and not as snappy as it was on 2.3.6, what do I do to make my phone feel not old.

Get a new phone? Or try and experiment with ROMS that aim for optimal performance
Finally went in to a 4G zone with my Nexus 7

I'm surprised there's a 4G icon in your status bar. I thought they changed it to show LTE in 4.3.

And will stay like that thanks to this new government!
CyanogenMod 10.1.3 stable is rolling out right now.
They have a stable build for i9100. I haven't seen a release marked stable for the i9100 in ages, like we're talking all the way back to CM9 or something.

Primarily why I got an N4 when it went on sale, stable ROMs for the S2 are few and far between. And the last RC build that was pushed to my S2 messed with the contrasts and now everything looks washed out and artifacted.
It was so worth moving to an N4.
Could an body tell me what this icon in my Status Bar means?

If it helps im running a Samsung Galaxy S3 With Cyanogenmod 10.1 and Opera as my Browser
Google Now notification or lights-out, from what I can tell.
Isn't that that fluxx app or something?
Google Now notification or lights-out, from what I can tell.
wrong
Isn't that that fluxx app or something?
wrong!!!
its when the status/button hider freaks out and doesn't unhide it properly
going to a place that hides your status bar again should fix it
Isn't that that fluxx app or something?
What? No that snapshot was made in opera
What? No that snapshot was made in opera
What does that have to do with anything? F.luxx (I think it's called) is an app that's always running thus needs a notification icon.
why is the speed test app so utterly crap? I mean, it does its job but it's the only android app I've seen that doesn't even ATTEMPT scaling - what's up with that shit?

Sorry but im not running f.luxx Aaaand Lord Crypto already helped me thanks dude i almost thought thats indicating my Front camera is in use

Innovation in the mobile space is dead anyway. Innovation is not a stylus and software gimmicks, innovation is not a thumbprint reader. The market has stalled.
don't be an idiot and flash 10.1.3 over a 10.2 nightly just because it's "newer"
Directed at me? Because I'm considering flashing 10.1.3 over 10.1.2... There is no 10.2 RC Spyder build. I run RCs and stables.

Eugh, hate when they don't stick to Android app guidelines. Bottom nav is too iOSey in my opinion.
Why most android devices have such shitty cameras.
Of so many companies, none of them are any good.
Even my Xperia Z is shit with its camera.

It's pretty much a straight port of the iOS version by the looks of it. I don't mind too much with this though since it's like a one use app where the most interacting with it you're doing is hitting the start test button and looking at the result

The cameras on the samsung galaxy phones are pretty damn good and the new LGs are apparently great as well. I agree that it isn't the priority it should be though.

You're asking for a good camera in a compact and affordable device.

Why is it that I can't swipe over to the camera lockscreen widget on my nexus? It always asks me to put in my passcode for some reason.

Obviously so that people can't use the camera without authentication
Obviously so that people can't use the camera without authentication
Works on mine on 4.3, it just doesn't let you access photos that you didn't just take until you passcode unlock.

Mine did it the first time because I have both AOSP camera and Focal installed and it didn't know what the default should be.
Now that it knows however, it *seems* to work (doesn't for some reason though, I'll file a bug on his GitHub)
