So, since now i have a Nexus, i like to try everything. Flashed PA 3.99.1, didnt lasted 5 mins, the ROM purpose is great, but the way they managed settings UI and stuff its waay too confusing.
battery life on the N4 is actually surprisingly great (I actually get a full day!); i would've got about a quarter of this on my S2 haha [t]http://u.cubeupload.com/GenericMonk/Screenshot2013092800.png[/t] [editline]28th September 2013[/editline]
So, since now i have a Nexus, i like to try everything. Andorid noob here, so I just got a android phone for the first time and it's the Galaxy Ace II x (well apparently only Canadians will know what it is) and every time I hear people talking about android everyone talks about rooting it and getting rid of the shit the manufacturer puts on the phone and customs roms and thing a mothogs but I can't find a custom rom for this phone so what do I do? And is it no big deal that I don't in the first place any ways? (Well truth be told I did find a tiny bit of links but I'm confused as shit with if they are even the right ones and stuff) Thanks
I need phone recommendations. I'm currently stuck with my dodgy Samsung Galaxy Y, which is slow to the point that it's a miracle if it can run 2 apps simultaneously - and it's also a miracle if an app is compatible with it. I've only really thought about the Xperia PLAY (But with it being outdated, the whole controller novelty worn off quick) and the Nexus 4 (Seems decent with the high ram and good quality camera, but the lack of a microsd port/slot is an extreme put off). To be frank, I'm not sure what phone I want. I want something that's somewhat cheap, good RAM, good multitasking and play your run of the mill games on it pretty darn fine. Anyone care to help, or should I try get the 16gb Nexus 4 - I don't really want to wait for the Nexus 5 to be honest.
The Xperia PLAY is a total piece, don't even consider it. Nexus 4 is the only inexpensive smartphone worth your time, though I'd wait for the 5 at this point since it should be announced within the next month or so

That's not good news for ROMing with firmware that's any good.. However, if you posted your Android version and Firmware version, someone may be able to help you with a root exploit.
Just got my first tablet today, a 2013 32gb Nexus 7. It's better than I could have dreamed.
And now to wait for these in Czech Republ-oh wait nevermind we don't even exist according to Google. :(
What? What's that? Show me on this map of Europe:
Well, I just picked up a Moto X. This thing is surprisingly nice. The touchless control and camera shortcut are wonky for me though. I should exchange it.
Well, I just picked up a Moto X. This thing is surprisingly nice. The touchless control and camera shortcut are wonky for me though. I should exchange it.
My opinion on the Moto X is that if you don't want a smaller phone, get something else.
My opinion on the Moto X is that if you don't want a smaller phone, get something else.
I do want the smaller phone, though. Between the One, S4, and Moto, I think I'll use the Moto as my daily driver.

is there any way in android to get the url of the downloaded item in browser? I mean I have history of downloads in browser, any way to get link of that download?
Hey guys. My phone got fucked by salt water so I ordered an S4 4G i9505. Any recommendations for cases etc? I hear the S4 is pretty fragile compared to some older phones.

Thinking about selling my GS3 cause it's constantly freezing.
Occasionally I'll have a problem where I can't drag down the notification bar I need to reboot and it's really annoying
Thinking about selling my GS3 cause it's constantly freezing.
Factory reset/ROM reflash?
Well, I just picked up a Moto X. This thing is surprisingly nice. The touchless control and camera shortcut are wonky for me though.
Factory reset/ROM reflash?
Tried about 15 different ROMs.
Sounds pretty similar to my experience with my first Galaxy S2, which had a defective motherboard.
Just re-installed cyanogenmod 10.2 on my galaxy tab 2. It worked, but it rebooted five times in the past 3 minutes. E: it's still doing it
Cyanogen 10.1 looks awesome, and it's so much less laggy than stock Android. very very happy with my first foray into rooting and custom OS'

Finished my college work for a while, I can work on the Steam app again! Once my phone stops being a useless piece of shit. I unrooted and went back to stock. Tried to root it again, it managed to flash TWRP and it says it's rooted on my computer, yet on the device it says it's not rooted. :suicide:
