Which one is better Juicedefender or 2x Battery? I am having battery problems with my Note1 running CM10.2. The battery is lasting barely one day with just like 30mins screentime at top. 30mins at the moment because it is currently between semesters. Cannot imagine when I need like 2 hours of screentime.

So, would that be like turning Airplane mode on?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rootuninstaller.batrsaver&hl=en
Interesting, recommended settings?
Deep sleep's about the only time your battery isn't shitting out power, so it makes sense that the only battery saver app that works is one that forces deep sleep.
I'll give it a try.

After having had the galaxy note 3 for more than a day, I can say a few things • multitasking is super fast • everything is super fast • i love phablet size but wish i could lower the DPI value to make some things smaller • samsung has really improved multi-window (you can set content to automatically launch in a multi window, e.g. clicking on a link in gmail/twitter opens Chrome in a multi window), sadly still need root to put apps in that aren't flagging themselves as explicitly supporting multi window • the screen has a disturbing purple-trail effect in when stuff scrolls on a pure black background, this happens only at lowest brightness • the screen's pure black pixels are actually pitch black and not dimly lit like on the S3 (very nice at night) • the phone tends to heat up near the top quite frighteningly when doing intensive applications. might be an advantage in the winter but hasn't overheated yet for me • good battery life, 3h30 of on screen time over here • camera is pretty damn good and intelligently uses lowlight mode automatically [editline]29th September 2013[/editline] • some of the "gimmicks" are actually really useful; smart stay and smart pause, for example. i love that video pauses automatically when i'm not looking at the phone. very useful if i'm watching a youtube video while shaving and i have to turn my head away to get at a specific spot on my face. haha [editline]29th September 2013[/editline] • the S pen is really useful for clicking super small things in the web browser
Samsung Smart features work with non S-apps now? Cool.

doesn't the note 2 have a lower screen res than the note 1? what's up with that shit?
Different aspect ratio.
Made my first Rainmeter skin, it looks like Jellybean's clock widget.
also I almost thought I bricked my phone the first time i tried to flash cwm recovery mod because I restarted and got an instant firmware error. but then I re-tried it and obviously it worked

Tried to take apart my Evo 3D. Fucking torx screws. Oh well, I didn't need the plastic that it attached to anyway. This is why we buy pocketknives. [editline]28th September 2013[/editline] Also did I need that Sprint antenna soldered to the motherboard? Whoops. Not like this phone was ever going to see actual phone use anyway

The main TPU bit warped a lot and subsequently ruined any pictures I took because the plastic caught all the light from the flash causing wicked glare, and the hard outer plastic broke very easily along the bottom USB connector making the whole thing useless because it could no longer clip on properly.

[editline]28th September 2013[/editline] ok now you listen to the moron who told you to buy it the UAG cases are pretty good, the one on my note 2 makes the phone pretty dropproof (I have dropped it down full wood stairs to no damage) and it hasn't warped in the few months I've owned it. I like the note 2 case more than the S4 case though (in terms of design)
I have $21 of promotional Google play credit expiring in 2 days. What do I buy? I already grabbed Cerberus and simple rockets
I have $21 of promotional Google play credit expiring in 2 days. What do I buy? I already grabbed Cerberus and simple rockets
nova launcher
So, I'm thinking of replacing my SGS3 Canadian variant, with the Australian (International?) HTC One, maybe in Black. Also looking at an Otterbox case for it, straight away. Any thoughts, or suggestions?

Yesterday my Galaxy S broke due to salt water and shit and today I managed to resurrect it, well, most of it. There appears to be a broken ribbon that has severed the mic and vibration and a replacement one costs $4. Only issue is I don't know how to fix myself. Anybody have any ideas? Link to XDA thread with pictures and more info
I know a guy that had an oldish Verizon flip phone. He dropped it in a beer when he was 19, and the speaker didn't work anymore, but I think that was pretty much the only issue. He just got a new phone about 6 months ago. He's almost 23 now.
Well I can't use it as a phone any more since the mic is severed. More of an expensive media player in its current state.
He could still make phone calls and everything, he just didn't have speakerphone. :v: [editline]28th September 2013[/editline] Salt's pretty corrosive though. I don't know how much more you can do, maybe someone else will have an idea though.
Salt's pretty corrosive though. I don't know how much more you can do, maybe someone else will have an idea though.
I cleaned most of the important parts and everything is working perfectly except whatever is attached to that ribbon. Looks like I need to either replace that part myself or find someone to do it for me.
